Intake, catless dowpipe , racing NGK spark plugs, tune by n75
This was a stock 300hp Q50 VR30. They are about as fast as an Elantra N stock per stock. The Q is more easily modified though.

Do you have valve rattle since putting on DP?
Rattle was existent before DP.

Bought the bundle from n75
Have you tried brake boosting I now it works good for 40 rolls but don't know how effective it is at 60
I have not tried that yet.
@ I know with the DCT, to activate it you have to hold down the traction control and then it will let you push the brake and gas simultaneously. It will give you an advantage at least till 100mph

@@CK3GT2 upgraded gear oil helps with slipping for a little . Anything past 400whp to much slipping

Hello , I installed the same cold air intake the same model on my son’s Elantra N line and after a few miles popped a check engine light. He took it to Autozone to have them check the code and it came back with P04DB Crankcase Ventilation System Disconnected Code F04DB indicates the Crankcase Ventilation System was disconnected for a predetermined period of time. P04DB Crankcase Ventilation System Disconnected Secondary DTCS P04DB Crankcase Ventilation System. Will this go away on its own. Thanks
Never had anyone else had that code before. Is your son’s car a N or N line ? Difference is N = 2.0 T and N line = 1.6 T . If your son has a Instagram tell him to DM pictures of how you guys installed the intake. My Instagram user name is the same and my RUclips name 👍🏽

Honestly don’t remember but it seems like when I tried to shit from first to second the car went back to automatic mode and it shifted its self into 2nd therefore when I actually clicked the paddle it went up too third gear.

De-tuned it back to stock. I do have a EK1 Lite 👍🏽

From my research, the enhanced pops are what caused the turbo to go. I also have N75 stage2++, pushing about 25-26 psi in 5th with HPFP, plugs + other supporting mods. It seems that I will run it with the exhaust mode set to sport so it doesnt pop, and then turn the pops on when I want to 'show off' haha Thanks for the informational video!

@@Stevenz_cars Ive just seen and knew about 4 cars other than you, that had the turbos go. Each one had enhanced pops, BUT, with all types of different tuners. I dont believe N75 is the culprit, just seems like the stock turbos cant handle the pops.

buy an upgrade turbo or to be safe, put the turbo from de veloster n (same engine, but less potential with the turbo from de veloster n).

Bad tuning? Or what... We have 2018 i30N with 322 000km. Hybrid turbo. Downpipe. Ecu tuned on dyno . E85 ~385-400hp. No problems. Not even burn oil more then 2DL every 9500km...
N75 tuned, to soon to tell. Once turbo gets replaced and if it happens again then I can start questioning the tuner ? I’m stage 2, supporting mods are intake and catless downpipe .
@@JKV. E85? What fuel mods are you running to run the E85 tune?
Plugs? HPFP? Not saying that would have caused a turbo issue but N75 does suggest them.
They didn’t suggest when I asked them , they said it’s recommended but not necessary. HPFP just gets rid of fuel cuts. Don’t thing Plugs would cause a turbo to go out.
