Savage nomads slaying cringe empires. Very good
"cringe empires" The Romans left Constantinople and Rome in the care of the East that survived for another thousand years, made the base for the modern laws that protect your wrinkly ass today, invented cutlery, defended Europe form the scourge of Islam and was the most powerful and most influential state of the world for multiple centuries. I'm sure that that is "cringe" - having an Empire not only culturally and historically rightful to the throne of Rome, but also one so strong that it can reclaim, defend and grow that throne. When the Eastern Romans came to Italy and kicked out the barbarians, the Latins cheered for them. Latin was spoken widely up until the time of Heraclius, who, in true Roman fashion, beat back the Iranians and saved the Roman Empire once more. And I could keep going... Constantine, Theodosius, Justin, Justinian, Theodora, Basil II, Maurice, Nikephoros II Phokas, Arcadius, Constantine XI, and many other great Eastern Roman emperors, and lets not forget the generals, such as Belisarius, Narses, Germanicus and Mundus, the staples of Roman warfare and military tactics. Also, remind me in what language Caesar was born and raised in, and what language he said his last words in... Was it not Greek? What about all the other emperors of Rome?
@@EnToutoiNika Byzantine Greeks weren't Romans now stop crying
@@EnToutoiNika are you telling me that Caesar was a Greek?😂 Yo wtf?! You can believe in what you want but it won't change my opinion about Greeks claiming to be Romans
@@artinrahideh1229 Google what Caesar's last words actually were. "Et tu, Brute?" isn't accurate. If that's the best version you know, you should probably re-evaluate your history knowledge.
@@artinrahideh1229 The Roman Empire was christianized and then split into two due to political instability. - The Western half collapsed shortly after. - The Eastern half survived and reconquered most of the East and defended Roman civilization and latinity for another thousand years, even if the dominant language shifted towards Greek, which was to be expected, considering that Greek was ANYWAY already a language of the aristocrats and of the imperiality ever since Ancient Roman times along with the fact that the East had its capital in the middle of the Greek world. That's how the "Byzantine" Empire was born. The East is a direct descendant of Rome, unlike Charlemagne's Empire, Russia, Turkey or whoever else claimed to be the successor of Rome. The modern states, cultures and languages of Western Europe are a product of the barbarian invasions of the Roman civilization that once reigned Europe. Also, regardless of what you say, Rome was modeled after Greece. Their founding myths - google Aeneas - revolved around Greek cultural and mythological elements, such as the Trojan war. I'm a latinist myself, but I firmly believe that Greece and Rome cannot, and should not, be separated. I'd not be surprised if you were Turk though ngl.
Is this the Russian coat of arms??
It's seljuk empire theme
@@mousben6427 it is well understood, I just saw a two-headed eagle very much like our imperial and modern one and made hasty conclusions
@@shaxov95 Russia is based of Eastern Rome double headed eagle because Russia claimed to be third rome.

What do cringe medieval Byzantines have to do with Rome?
"Ya Allah" made Roma not so aeterna :DDD
@@dutystalker Ottomans conquered Byzantines and Constantinople. Rome was long gone by that time. Yeah they did call themselves Romans but there's a great deal of difference between Christian Greeks of Middle Ages and Pagan Latins of antiquity
@@artinrahideh1229"Medieval Byzantines" do not exist. Byzantium ceased to exist in 330 AD, far before the Middle Ages. The Roman Empire survived until 1453, but after the loss of much of its Latin-speaking western territory, what remained was the Greek-speaking east. Speaking Greek doesn't make someone any less Roman.
@@artinrahideh1229there is a great deal of difference, but they are still Romans. The concept of Romanness isn't bound to religion or language.
Do you know the lyrics to this in Turkish ? Thanks.
Baş üryan (Head seperated) Sine püryan (Chest shattered) Kılıç alkan (Sword is covered with blood) Eyvallah (Eyvallah: Word is used to show the acceptance of the situation that is told above in a doubtlessly loyal way. The simplest translation: "Come what may") Hû or Hü means "Allah" (God). It is coming from the word "Huva" that means "He" in Arabic language. The word "Huva" is used for Allah in Quran. And "Hû" is a reference to that. Kahrımız (Our wrath,) Kılıcımız (Our sword,) Düşmana Ziyan (...is lethal to enemy) Eyvallah (hû) (Eyvallah)
