Although this does look great, I am Irish and can say this isn’t a soda bread, there should be no fruit and it should use 50/50 wholewheat/plain flour and bicarbonate of soda
Yes you are right, the authentic Irish bread doesn’t use fruits. If we go more authentic some people don’t even use butter and egg. This is an enriched version. Thank you for your suggestion and information❤️

Thank you for your comment. Yes the masala mix is same. May be we can call it Thoran too.But Avial is loaded with too much carbs. Raw banana and roots and boiling in water, we loose nutrients.

I made buns, but the top of the buns won't brown, what's wrong? I need an answer 😢
Did you brush with egg wash on the buns before you bake, then definitely you will get the shiny and brown texture on the top. Even if not get browned, your oven temperature is low. Even oven is different try to increase the oven temperature bit more. Hope you have the answer. Thank you for your comment 😊
