Hi there!
My name is Jurgen. Currently residing in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, I'm writing, playing and recording music.
My main instruments are electric guitar and drums, but I play bass every now and then as well. I'm a self-taught guitar player, having played for about four years. Check back here every now and then to see my progress. Subscribe if you like my videos!
What gear do I use?
Guitar
Either a Gibson USA Buckethead Les Paul Signature guitar or an ESP LTD MH327 through a Line6 Pod HD500.
Drums
Roland TD-8 through M-Audio Rittersport 2x2 MIDI interface running EZ-Drummer 2 VST's.
Bass
I usually ask Branco van der Werf to record bass. He does so with an Ibanez SR1405 going through Darkglass B7K and a Markbass Compressore into a Line 6 Helix.

The Flames of War
Me and Branco challenged ourselves to write a song a lot longer than the usual 3 minutes. With about 6:30 I think we managed to achieve that goal. Axes of War is an instrumental track which combines fast rhythm guitars with melodic leads and a lot of harmonies (as usual)!

Buckethead Pike 65 - Hold Me Forever Backing Track

I put some more time into this project and extended it to around 19 minutes. This pike is one of Buckethead's best in my opinion, and I like playing along with the original. So I thought I might as well try my hand at creating a backing track. I started programming drums, added bass and recorded some rhythm guitar parts. I spent a lot of time creating this. I hope you enjoy!

This is my take on Dio's Holy Diver. Drums, bass and guitars all recorded by myself! Hope you enjoy singing over this, I had a lot of fun recording! I think the original recording is tuned half a step down. I recorded this in E-standard, so you might need to adjust your vocals half a step up!

This is a (for now) instrumental heavy metal song I wrote inspired on the maratona d'les Dolemites, which I took part in in 2014! Imagine riding 140 Kilometers or about 80 Miles across 12 mountains on a bicycle and you'll get the idea. Credits to Branco for recording bass! Credits to conceptDIGITAL for mixing and mastering!

Not at all! Please, feel free! A lot of my songs need lyrics and vocals... Been looking around but just did not find the right person for the job I guess!
