Power Rangers Time Force was my first introduction.

Selling Power Rangers back to Saban is without a doubt what I consider it to be “THE WORST DECISION DISNEY HAS EVER MADE.” I rather watch remastered versions of old seasons & let the show rest for a few years until Disney found a better for Power Rangers to be like on Disney+, than watching sh*ttier seasons by Neo-Saban!

I still remember watching Mighty Morphin with my sister back in middle school, and finding it really enjoyable. There were also the times I watched Mystic Force and thought it was, okay, and played those dumb web games on the website. But I think it all fell off for me with Mega Force for sure. That was just, an unbearable level of bland storytelling and the way they’d transform into the older rangers felt extremely cheap. I’m sad that the series fell off so badly.

I didn't like the Power Rangers team of "pirates". The rangers sounded like a bunch of teenage arrogant assholes. Excuse my language but should the rangers have bravery and humility at the same time. Nevertheless, crazy storylines and 2017 movie gave Power Rangers a downfall.

*The Lasts of Each Sentai:* 1. *Goranger:* Goranger was the last Sentai without any motif or theme whatsoever, as it was intentionally generic to get the show off the ground. 2. *JAKQ:* JAKQ was the last Sentai to not have a giant robot at all, as they'd become a staple because of Spider-Man. (Yes, really.) 3. *Battle Fever:* Battle Fever was the last Sentai to not have a morphing sequences. 4. *Denjiman:* Denjiman was the last Sentai with helmets that had visors with airholes so the actors could see, as special see-through visors as their budget increased. 5. *Sun Vulcan:* Sun Vulcan was the last Sentai with input from Stan Lee and Marvel, as the two would part ways after this season. (Side note: Do NOT look up what their yellow ranger did behind the scenes. You will be traumatized.) 6. *Goggle-V:* Goggle-V was the last sentai whose suits were made of cloth, as following this season, all suits would switch to spandex. (Or "nano-fiber" as Dr. K calls it before she unleashes her wrath on me for calling it spandex.) 7. *Dynaman:* Dynaman was the last Sentai to have the same narrator as its predecessors. 8. *Bioman:* Bioman was the last Sentai whose female member needed to be replaced mid-show. 9. *Changeman:* Changeman was the last Sentai to be skipped over in France when they dubbed it. 10. *Flashman:* Flashman was the last season to share the same anniverary marketing as a future team due to corporate interferance from Toei. 11. *Maskman:* Maskman was the last season to crossover with a Kamen Rider from the Showa Era. (Kamen Rider Black if you're wondering.) 12. *Liveman:* Liveman was the last Sentai to be incorrectly labeled an anniversary because Toei wanted to pretend Goranger and JAKQ didn't exist because they had no mecha. (Insert there is no war in Ba Sing Se meme here.) 13. *Turboranger:* Turboranger was the last to have its prototype name used for a future Sentai Series (Carranger), and its actual title used for a future Power Rangers series (Power Rangers Turbo) at the same time. 14. *Fiveman:* Fiveman was the last Sentai without individualized mechs for two members. (You can guess who they gave the shaft to.) 15. *Jetman:* Jetman was the last Sentai that should've been an anniversary that wasn't given that treatment. 16. *Zyuranger:* Zyuranger was the last Sentai to air before Power Rangers began. 17. *Dairanger:* Dairanger was the last Sentai where only one of their ranger suits was used in the show. (Kibaranger becoming the White Ranger in MMPR.) 18. *Kakuranger:* Kakuranger was the last season before Toei finally pulled their hands out of their butts and realized that Goranger and JAKQ were fundemental parts of Super Sentai. 19. *Ohranger:* Ohranger was the last sentai season that was re-written mid-production due to a terrorist attack on a train station. 20. *Carranger:* Carranger was the last Sentai where neither a ranger nor the mecha they pilot appears in its American counterpart where the rest of the team was fully adapted. (White Racer, because she had a Japanese face and a Zord that was too weird to appear.) 21. *Megaranger:* Megaranger was the last Sentai whose main mecha only consists of one component. 22. *Gingaman:* Gingaman was the last Sentai to have its theme completely change from it to Power Rangers. Gingaman was just an animal themed Sentai, while Lost Galaxy made it space themed due to In Space's popularity with fans. 23. *GoGoV:* GoGoV was the last Sentai without a sixth ranger. (Zeek doesn't count.) 24. *Timeranger:* Timeranger was the last Sentai whose finale was merely a clipshow and is generally not considered canon, and just an advertisement for the next anniversary. 25. *Gaoranger:* Gaoranger was the last Sentai without an actual main antagonist. 26. *Hurricanger:* Hurricanger was the last Sentai whose American counterpart went through a major re-write once it was sold to Disney. 27. *Abaranger:* Abaranger was the last Sentai to have a well suited joke ranger that PR couldn't use, that actually matched the other suits. (Though I could imagine Cassidy being a suitable counterpart for her if I say so myself. LOL!) 28. *Dekaranger:* Dekaranger was the last Sentai to have gold and silver rangers that weren't the main sixth ranger, as it would be a bad habit of them afterwards. 29. *Magiranger:* Magiranger was the last Sentai to have an extra ranger morph on-screen before the main team did. 30. *Boukenger:* Boukenger was the last Sentai whose American Counterpart had a crossover with an indentical theme to the Sentai where the previous teams were actual characters when it was actually made. (Though not the same rangers showed up, but, it's still a fun fact.) 31. *Gekiranger:* Gekiranger was the last season whose main villains at one point became full-on sixth rangers. (Yes, I consider Rio and Mele to be the sixth rangers of Gekiranger. Fight me!) 32. *Go-Onger:* Go-Onger was the last Sentai whose American counterpart was tonally different from it. 33. *Shinkenger:* Shinkenger in contrast was the last Sentai whose American counterpart was 99% identical to its Japanese counterpart. 34. *Goseiger:* Goseiger is the last Sentai season where a sixth ranger died before they could be the sixth ranger, and had its slot replaced by a completely different one. 35. *Gokaiger:* Gokaiger was the last Sentai to use dial-up phones to transform as technology progressed afterwards. 36. *Go-Busters:* Go-Busters was the last season to have alternative versions of it in a non-canon movie as a joke. 37. *Kyoryuger:* Kyoryuger was the last Sentai to have its real main villain appear in a future crossover special with its successor. 38. *ToQger:* ToQger is the last Sentai so far to never be planned on being adapted in Power Rangers in an official capacity and never can be adapted as suits from it were already shown in other PR seasons. 39. *Ninninger:* Ninninger was the last Sentai to have a Power Rangers actor appear on it. (And it's also the only one.) 40. *Zyuohger:* Zyuohger was the last Sentai to air at 7:30 AM before the time slots changed with Kamen Rider. 41. *Kyuranger:* Kyuranger was the last season where its American adaptation was actually scrapped due to Power Rangers being bought out by Hasbro. 42. *Lupinranger vs. Patranger:* LuPat, as I'll call it, is the last season to be cop-themed, and probably forever due to public perception of cops being tarnished for reasons I won't get into. 43. *Ryusoulger:* Ryusoulger was the last Sentai so far to be officially fully adapted into Power Rangers, zords and suits. 44. *Kiramager:* Kiramager was the last Sentai made with imput from Hasbro before both companies began to do their own things. 45. *Zenkaiger:* Zenkaiger was the last season to contradict its predecessors by splitting everything into multiple dimensions. 46. *Donbrothers:* Donbrothers was the last season to have the Super Sentai logo appear before the theme song. 47. *King-Ohger:* King-Ohger was the last season to air when Power Rangers was still running. 48. *BoonBoomger:* No lasts so far at this point as Gozyuger hasn't started airing yet.

The overall c9mcept of "Uniranger" really reminds of how Gozyuger (the upcoming Sentai) ended up being. It's not exactly like Uniranger, but Gozyuger is leaked to be combining the mecha, changer and weapon into one

The reason why people hate Ninninger not only it has the worst American adaptation but they think the story is weird and strange and they don’t like the weapons, suits and mecha And ghost is hated too because they find the story is so confusing and they find Takeru/Ghost boring but the suit design is cool ig

Mystic force is underrated

So true...... Shinkenger is the best sentai, while Time Force and Lost Galaxy were my favorite PR. Lupin Ranger which introduced me to Sentai, but Shinkenger was the one which made me a Sentai addicted fan 😂..even I have all the episodes in my phone. I started watch other Sentai series non-stop bcoz of Shinkenger. Making PR series feel bland af 😅

Kakuranger was also known for having a female leader, Ninja White, although this would only occur halfway through the series. The same can be said with Timeranger as Time Pink is in fact their official leader. Shinkenger was technically the first sentai to feature a female in red.

Maskman already had a member number 6. Well, sort of. He was actually the member number 0, the prototype Maskman predating the oficial 5 Maskmen. He only appeared in one episode and never properly joined the team.

Akibaranger is the first one to have more female main cast than male's. The first one that theme around otaku culture. Also, probably the first one to completely break the fourth wall.

I'd love to see a behind the scenes of the Dragonzord/ Dragon Caesar. Who was in the suit? Was it a male or female? How did they get into the suit? Were the actors lifted into the lower half and assistants placed the upper half on top of the suit actors? And most of all why Dragon Caesar is not given any love as there are no giant statues, that I know of, honoring him in Japan.

I love watching these history of power rangers videos but as far as mystic force and operation overdrive everybody be hating on what I call my favorite shows and I hate that i know why lmaoo

My first introduction to Power Rangers was actually a movie based around the Mighty Morphin power rangers, when JDF was the "gold" ranger instead of green.

Honestly, I never cared about the Neo Saban era at all which is why I'd rather stick with sentai. But the OLD Saban era AND the first three Disney shows I'm fine with.

Choushinsei Flashman is the first Sentai where the heroes do NOT have last names (at least until one of them at the end) and the first to have a more bittersweet ending. Kosoku Sentai Turboranger is the first Sentai where the heroes are high school students and the first to be aired entirely in the Heisei era. Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman is not only the first to have all siblings, but also the first where they have a Super Mode. Choujin Sentai Jetman has several notable firsts. In addition to the first to have a bird motif theme, it is also the first to not show all five members present on the first episode, as well as the first to have the Red, Blue, Yellow, Black and White color formation, which would be seen in later entries such as Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. Also, is the first 5-member Sentai team where it has three males and two females, with a male Yellow and a female Blue. This would occur again with Maho Sentai Magiranger where it normally has five members, with the yellow member being male and the blue being female. Also is the first 5-member series to not have a pink member at all (although White Swan has bits of pink on her suit), and the blue member has a brighter shade. It's also the first Sentai series adapted into video games, and the first where a member dies at the very end of the series, but not by the villains.

😥 You've been the best friend of tokusatsu fans since 2020. I forgive you for everything. 🙏 After all I've been a fan of toku myself since Dekaranger/SPD. I checked out both versions and I got hooked since then I've wanted to check out more of toku and even thought about it.
