FYI, if your vehicle is experiencing a coolant leak due to failed head gasket, you can have the repairs done under warranty. Kia lost a class-action lawsuit: static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10248080-0001.pdf My wife's 2014 Sorento with the V6 is currently being repaired at no cost to us, despite being at 100,000 miles. The downside is that it has taken ten weeks to get the repair completed due to shortages of repair kits and the volume of claims.
11mm 12 point socket? Because 11mm regular don’t fit.
Yes I believe it was a 12 point.
Thanks for posting this. Could I do this on a 2015 Kia Sedona 3.3 van without removing the engine from the vehicle?
It’s possible just a tight space to work in
Thank you so much! Doing my 2016 Sorento 3.3L head gasket. A few stripped head bolts and now I’m having to order this kit, thank you!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
No problem!
What that cost the customer ? If you don’t mind me asking. I have a 3.3 that needs it done
About 2500$ all in. Could cost anywhere from 2500-3000$. If you can pull the motor I recommend trying it yourself. The kit is about 500$. Took me about 3days.
Hello, where can I get that kit? thank you
