I want to catalog every trail and forest service road I can. I live in Arizona so that's where most of my content will come from but I hope to expand to other states for multi-day trips. I don't typically do extreme trails because I'm more interested in seeing places and terrains than I am into climbing obstacles but sometimes you never know what you'll run into and I've overbuilt my Jeep for the trails I go on.

Known for its scenic desert landscapes, water activities, and warm community vibe, Parker attracts both locals and visitors looking for a memorable getaway. One of its most famous attractions is the Desert Bar, a truly one-of-a-kind establishment located deep in the Arizona desert.

Sounds like a nice place to go!
Looks like a reasonably decent trail from Turkey Creek to Parsons Grove. How far is that stretch?
I tried going up that hill in my gen 2 Tacoma OR. I made it most of the way up but turned around close to the top.
Appreciate the effort, but some forest road/highway info would have helped all of us non locals.
Wow, some areas of that road are scary! 😯😯😯😯
Its my home and Thank you.
we went today. Beautiful
Did the trip about 6 years ago we went in from klondike great road
1:13 a picture of that hangs over my desk 👍
How do we get to this campsite on the back side of Roosevelt lake. It looks amazing thanks for sharing. Kelly
where is this road?
Very cool video. Is this the same western trail that goes all the way north to Canada?
❤
We did this last week but got spooked by the no trespassing signs at Lochiel. I don’t understand how they could have bought the road. Did you have permission to proceed or just ignore the signs? Or did we read them wrong? Maybe the lands adjacent to the road are not accessible but the road is?
sorry not sorry someone stole a sign from there
Cool to see bleepin colt in his sami, wonder why he was out in az at the time
Is this forest service rd 269?
do you have the coordinate to the starting point? How long did it take you to go to the top?
I've taken this road before :) But never in the snow. That's cool!
I was thinking about doing this weekend in a stock gladiator willys
I love there...nice. video
How do I get to this road
Just found your channel and watched all 3 Rug Road/ Turkey Creek videos. Has been on my bucket list for a long time. Took my 09 Duramax up to the top of Copper Creek where it drops down into Rug about a year ago. Plan on going all the way Aravaipa once my Suburban is finished. Thanks for posting these. Nice to see what I’ll be up against. 😆
That's why I post them so people can see what they're up against!
I did this in 2015 with a couple of buddies. I was in a 76 Suburban with a 4” lift on 35”s no lockers just the rear factory limited slip. My buddies were in a stock base Wrangler with street tires a stock F150 with AT tires a stock Silverado on factory AT tires and an Xterra on 35”s. Only problem I had was my shitty edelbrock carb flooded going up hill on a cold morning. We camped out in Turkey Creek. Look up Madmike495 carpet hill. My buddy posted a video on his channel.
Didn't see the big iron boilers, the large safe that was blown open or the Big Horn sheep. Spent many a night under the Cotton Woods at the bottom of Carpet Hill.
How far is this trail from bottom to the Top ?? are you allowed to Camp up there ? best to do this in the late spring when its warmer I would think ?
Is a 4wd mandatory?
Worse video ever
Is that the back roads from Mammoth to Winkleman ?
Yes
When was this filmed? Lol I am 99% sure I spotted my truck at the 14:40 mark. Red TRD Tacoma. Debadged no 4x4 sticker and tacoma emblems are blacked out. I NEVER see third gen TRD Offroads that dont have the 4x4 sticker. Was showing my bud the area and cracked up when I saw it. And thats my sons orange tackle box as well.

I made this drive twice and I love it💚 Thanks for sharing💯😃👍 Yavapai County ROCKS🔥
Glad you liked it!!
Thanks for the video. I’m gonna. CHeck this trail out this fall. Tfs 🤙🏽🌸
Hope you like it!
Why stop for no reason? Show signs when you see them
Very cool!
Thank you!
Ridiculous 😮 why are u going sooo fast - can’t see a thing!!!
The video is sped up 400% so I can show the whole trail without the video being hours long. You can play it at 1/4 speed and it should he about real time.
Where exactly is this trail located?
And just what are you looking for? Gold, trophy bucks, lost Apache tribe, Mexican immigrants? Just a long hard expensive 4 wheeler trip. Get a mountain bike dude!
Must add another comment. At 22:55 when you crossed the bridge over the Verde River, there is a ranch to the right the owner of which the road you were traveling was named, Perkinsville road. He established a small trading post there but he was especially known for the beauty of his daughters. They never married, but not because cowboys didn't try. These ladies were exceptional entrepreneurs and they surely could fill out a pair of Jeans and knew how to sit a saddle, but they just didn't like being roped. We're talking 30 some years ago when I first saw them. BTW, had many wonderful picnics with my wife and friends under that bridge
Driven this road several times both ways. I'm glad you weren't really driving that fast, At time slot 23:50 where you crossed the cattle guard there is a small pinnacle to the right called "First View AZ. If you had stopped there and climbed it you could have seen nearly all of the Verde Valley. A magnificent view!
Seems like an easy but beautiful forest road. I'm looking forward to taking it later this year (before the winter closures, of course).
Have fun!
So where is it!
Needle Rock recreation area is closed as of April 2023 due to flood damage.
Was that the Gardner canyon loop? I can't find the name you called it. It looks similar to Gardner Canyon. At the back of Gardner Canyon there are some green Lanes on the app that turn really cross axle funky pretty fun and unexpected
I started a few of your videos. Am not a fan of the speed ups. Sorry, never finished any of them.
I want to show the conditions of the entire trail. I speed up so it isn't hours long. you can set youtube to be 1/4 speed and it will match up with real time as the videos are sped up 400%.
Video would've been great but the "music" killed it.
Thanks for watching.
Such critics. How about just saying thank you? Geez
I think the music is fine.
Nice vid! Where is the start of this trail? Route? Etc..
My favorite way up the mountain
Do you have your route mapped out and saved?
I’m confused I thought Araviapa Canyon was a designated wilderness area where only hikers are allowed? I didn’t think you could drive through it to Klondike anymore anymore. Is there another route through?
You are correct. This trail is on the edge of the wilderness area. It takes you to the trailhead of the wilderness area (and around the outskirts).
@@44bgood do you have a link to a map that shows the trail?
I assume 288? What is the section past young to the 260 like? I assume it's not too bad and a stock Willys can do it?
