Dadbodcyclinginc SBT GRVL 2023
Просмотров 4 тыс.Год назад
This is a review of my first time on gravel while doing the 100 mile blue course at SBT GRVL. I had two dead ETAP batteries. I also had someone stop short in front of me on a single track causing my crash. There were so many ups and downs, but a great story In the end! #cycling #cyclinglife #cyclingshots #cyclinglife #roadcycling #fittok #骑自行车 #tiktokcycling #サイクリング #roadcyclingpics #roadcyclin...

Winspace Lun Road Series 60mm rim break wheel review. Part 1
Unboxing and description of why I chose the Lun 60mm road series wheelset!

Can do go fast within a sensible budget?! Can these wheels hold up with a 106kg cyclist? Let’s unbox them and dive in!
Congrats! I've signed for the 100, 2024. My first 100 on gravel. Are you planning to ready next year
Does the textured braking surface work well? Better than carbon rim brake surface like on Enve wheels?
Okay bro. You convinced me about 60mm😂 🫡🫡
You ain’t lying brotha 😅
Congratulations on the run! Your video was excellent! Nice work on all fronts. Thanks!

W❤❤❤
I am bad at climbing too, never give up. 💪
I just saw your IG reel about this video. My daughter is 12, and she does NOT think I'm famous. She thinks it's embarrassing out filming the bike crowds, lol. Subscribed!
Thats a great looking race jersey.
Over from insta. Btw Stillwater has some pretty sweet mtb trails too, not that that's your thing.
"my allergies turned up to 1000" - yeah it's like that here. Even for locals. NEVER get used to it.
Congratulations! I did the 100 at Mid South also. LOVED IT!! Cant wait for 2025!!
Was it ... "amazing"? Haha. Nice rundown. Really enjoyed watching.
Looks like a mega event. Some proper gravel 👌
What’s next on your gravel agenda for 2024?
Awesome work man! I rode back and forth with you for a bit. It was a great day! 👊
What an awesome adventure & a nice video montage , a joy to watch ..well done or chapeau as we say in the cycling world 👏
Congrats on finishing! I saw you out there a few times, but didn't get a chance to say what up!
Great job Makesi! See you at Rasputitsa...
You there! 💪🏿💪🏿
Cool bike 🙌 and review
You're a legend mate keep smashing it
Sounds beautiful mate
Nice work man
Aaayyy let’s go bro’! Well done! I’m here for more RUclips content 🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎
Congrats!! Well done!
Congratulations! Loved hearing about your experience.
Thank you!
“I hate sand on the beach” had me rolling!!!
😂😂😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pro tip for washboard section of road which is counter intuitive to what you might expect. Get on the flats of the bars but, don’t apply a death grip. Death grips will not allow your bike to float. Applying a loose grip will help you relax. Second you should pedal your bike through the washboard section. This will allow you to track better and faster which is what you need to do. This doesn’t always apply to cattle guard crossings because sometimes they can be slick. I’ve raced cyclocross and MTBs in the past. I hope this helps. Keep the rubber side down.
Fabulous video! This was VERY helpful, as I'm signed up for SBT GRVL this year, and it's nice to know what I'm getting into (although I'm doing the MUCH shorter 56-mile red course). I avoid the battery issue by just riding my single-speed, which also gives me an excuse to jump off and walk it. And I second the motion for handlebar stickers that say “You’re hurt, not injured. Keep pushing.”
Dude, how are the wells holding after a year of riding? Are your wheelset stiil OK ?
Dude, how are the wells holding after a year of riding? Thinking of buying this wheelset but all ready used and the price is acceptable.
I'm scared of going downhill 😅
Proud of you Bubba
Thanks man!
Thanks! You should probably sell Dadbodcycling handlebar stickers that say “You’re hurt, not injured. Keep pushing.” I could use one of those.
Fab vid, well done keeping at it. Which tires and what pressure where you on? Tried descending in the drops rather than hands on the hoods? Good luck with what’s next🤘
Thanks, it was a loaner bike but they were the panaracer gravel king tires 35 PSI. Now that I’m more comfortable on gravel I’ll try descending on the drops next time.
Ok interesting
Hell yeah man, way to persevere!
Thank you!
Way to keep pushing
Thanks!
Man, you had a day! Way to persevere. 🙌 It was great to meet you.
Thanks Ben! Great meeting you. I’ll definitely be back!
Big guys cramp bro. Electrolytes and salt works wonders.
I had both! That heat was just overpowering
Excellent work. What type of bike did you use?
I used a Cervelo Caledonia
@@Dadbodcyclinginc 👍
Good work bro. Time to transition to single speed.
😂😂 might be
You did it on a Caledonia?! I just got mine and was wondering how it would do on gravel. Definitely inspired by this. We need a gear check video on it.
I did! It wasn’t bad either. Unfortunately it was a loaner so I don’t have it anymore
Epic well done chapeau 🤙
Good job on the ride......thanks for reminding me why I will stick with mechanical in the near future.
😂😂😂
Great video! Thanks for the shout out! 🙌🏽💥❤️
Thank you brother! 💪🏿💪🏿
Congrats! Fantastic accomplishment !
Thank you!
Brutal! But life is for living, and it’s clear you definitely had a great experience. 💪🏽
Definitely unforgettable
That first decent, the guy that stopped right in the line. 🤦🏻♂️ I can't stand when people do that. Next year, Gravel Worlds in Lincoln, NE. It's a damn good time!!! ✌🏻
Yup! That was my first taste of someone stopping without warning for the day. I definitely want to do Gravel Worlds.
