Hey, remember that screens don't produce full colour, they work on pixels that are red green and blue, so doing things on a screen isn't the same as in real life when you actually have context clues and depth perception to help you out, along with the fact that you actually have the full range of colours that your brain can actually work with. And that screens work via modulating the brightness of pixels of a set colour, so if people see those types of reds, greens, or blues as similar or the same as one another then you are loosing a hole lot of range in the colours you can pick out on a screen. RGB being represented by 255, 255, 255, let's say someone was blue green colour blind, then for a set red value, it doesn't matter the difference in the other two, they will see it as similar/the same, this applies to more than just the colours they are usually colourblind to (probably), because any colours made from the ones they are colour blind from taking the other value in the RGB to be constant, it would definitely make things very hard to impossible to pick out on a screen (because it's just a flat surface emitting 3 types of colour) that they are able to see regularly. I don't think many people realise that when looking at screens our minds know it's a flat surface but maps out what is on the screen as if it were something that was really Infront of you, as it's not like colourblind people find specific colours to be invisible, like how you can still make out objects in grey scale, but what a lot of people don't seem to take into account is that they still see the screen/monitor, but the fact it's a flat surface emitting specific colours means that they see a flat surface emitting colours that their brain is able to interpret as 'well I can make out enough of this to assume generally what's going on' and allow the person to still be able to know what's going on, but because what they perceive (idk if moderately or severely) is distorted from what they are used to seeing, it's no wonder that they can find that characters or things blend into eachother or can be hard to tell what's going on if everything is moving as you move in games while trying to tell what bit of the colours is actually the character if the entire thing looks the same. Btw am not colour blind nor know anyone that is, just I know this about screens and have seen a lot on different stuff that most people might not consider
