@@krooks6367 Yes, I’m one of those that believes in the power of illusion or glamour: throw some sparkles, some lipstick and some pearls and suddenly the world seems less dreary. It’s not the be all, end all of course, if you have clinical depression you are going to require clinical professional help. If you are going through a loss, no amount of makeup, jewels or pretty objects will bring the person back. The way I see it is, if life is hard, might as well feel pretty and glamorous while going through it 😊🧚‍♂️

We don’t have mardigraas in my country and very few knows about it. The Female trying for getting the vote in Great Britain used colorcombination purple green and white. They used in Badges, postcards, jewelry, clothes to drew attention for their cause.

@@krooks6367 I see, we don’t have mardigras where I live either, though we do celebrate carnival at different dates between january and february - no specific colours though 😊 Colour theory is fascinating, how they are viewed, perceived and used by groups or organizations and the even subconscious connotations they have 😊

@@krooks6367 Yes, I have used it quite a bit actually 😄 I love it, but I like the ghoulish cadaver look on myself, so the colour story may not be the most crowd pleasing. Funny enough, yeeears ago, I had composed a palette for myself with Kiko eyeshadows that had similar colours to this 🤭 So I guess again it’s a matter of taste. As for the quality of the shadows, I think they are good, both in payoff and staying power (lilac for instance is a tough colour in matte formulation, but this one works really well) 😊 I use them without eye primer, and have rather oily eyelids and have had no issues with them 👍 Overall I’m very pleased with this quad 😄🧚‍♂️
