Lovely ❤
Awesome demo of the 455! Thanks
Thanks for posting, very little information online for this. Question for you. Can the injection pump just be taken off and put back on. I keep seeing guys talking about timing but the way the pump looks you should just be able to take it off and reinstall it correct?
So in the video I had only removed the top of the injection pump which can be done without worrying about timing problems. The part I’m holding bolts into the main part of the injection pump, the only time timing is an issue is when you remove the entire injection pump from the engine. The injection pump is gear driven and timed to the engine and should not be removed until all the timing marks are found.
@Justbereal99 exactly what I needed to know. Thank you!
I have the weaker one. I just use it to blow leaves off the driveway and onto the yard so i can mulch them. My neighbor has the backpack version and he has a significantly smaller yard than me. LOL.
Thank you for real world review. Nice
Those things are awesome, I've got a 445 and an x585, even with the 2 wheel drive the 445 is able to keep up just fine with 585. I've never driven that small of a diesel engine though on the 455. Seems really capable though.
Yes it is a very capable little machine. It has also been very reliable.
You’re a beast! That machine is going to be so clean when you get it all back together. I just learned so much about my used 4110. Can’t wait to see the final product
Nice video, I’ll be harvesting in 2 weeks after the golden rod flow is over
Golly 😍😍😍😍😍😍 dream
Nice Custom Truck.
Won't the birds eat the bees 🎉
@@DenverVance-x2w Most birds avoid bees, there are a couple kinds of birds that will eat bees when given the opportunity. I haven’t had any problems with birds eating the bees.
What brand/model of chipper is that?
@@strandedisland05 it’s a woodmaxx chipper, made to grind branches up to 3 inches. Not sure of the exact model, I had borrowed it from someone.
As a jd tech. Thats a good way to wash out the cylinders. Good luck with that. 👍
Yea it has more fuel than it needs. I normally don’t drive around blowing smoke like that, just here to show people what to expect when they turn their tractor up.
Amazing video keep it up, the honey looks so good!
Thank you, it tastes even better than it looks!
What was the verdict? How did it go?
It gave it more fuel like I had hoped, runs great! Check out my latest video to see it in action.
@@Justbereal99 thank you! So, just to try to pick your brain a little bit.. I've been using my dad's 455 to take care of my parents acreage after he passed away a couple years ago, and I try to keep up on maintainence. However I am having issues with it running well consistently. At times, I can crank and crank and nothing happens, no vapor or smoke out the exhaust. Other times it'll puff some white vapor then goes black as it starts up then clears up and runs perfectly. When it runs the throttle control is very responsive and it mows and runs very well. I got a few hours of mowing in the other day and then it started to bog so I shut down the deck and it ended up dying. I tried to start it back up and it was struggling to start.. It eventually did start, but then experienced engine runaway (no idea why this happened and I have not noticed any oil consumption while I've used it - just changed the oil also). I immediately pulled the intake tube and blocked it with my hand and it died within about 5 seconds (as I prayed it wouldn't explode in my face) The fuel pump does run, I get flow to the filter, and past. The fuel cutoff solenoid engages quickly and pulls all the way back. I have not checked the glow plugs, injectors, compression, or adjusted the valves, I don't know how to really check or test the injection pump (hoping this isn't the problem), and don't know what other components I need to look at. I have changed the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump and cleaned the prefilter screen to allow better flow, fresh oil change and fresh transaxle fluid change. Im very puzzled that it sometimes is hard to start, and other times not so much, and also confused that it ran very well as I was mowing without loss of power or hesitation. I am lost and need guidance on what I need to look into, test, and fix. I'm very behind on mowing there for my mom and need help getting this back into proper working order. Where should I start? Thank you in advance and sorry this is so long, I just wanted to give insight on what is happening and what I've done /haven't done so far.
@@blakebauer2722 That is frustrating, I had a very similar problem with my tractor. There are 2 things I’d check first. When your tractor cranks but won’t smoke or start that can happen when the fuel on/off solenoid isn’t working properly. When the solenoid starts to go bad it will only work half the time so double check that it is engaging the next time it won’t start. Also check the fuel filter on the side of the engine. There should be a spring sitting on the bottom of the bowl pushing up on the bottom of the fuel filter. If the spring gets lost during a filter change and isn’t there to hold the filter up in place it can cause some of the issues you’re having.
@@Justbereal99 thank you for your input. I did change the fuel filter recently and the spring is back in place. The solenoid does engage fully every time the key is turned as well.
@@blakebauer2722 how many hours does the tractor have?
Email or phone no? Wondering how to do the same on our 455
Not sure I want my personal info floating around on here. Would a how to video be of any help?
nice setup. I have 318 with a belt driven blower MCS very similar to yours. that bagger sure looks like a 318 MCS converted to a 3 point with a different drive shaft. It works great. like a vacuum cleaner on the lawn
Rolling coal!!
Man! And I thought my tires were beat! And I have a dually! Lol!😮
