I'm a senior living in Victoria on Vancouver Island BC Canada and have been involved in computers since they came out. I enjoy some gaming, I'm just not very good at it. I play around in VR for fun and buy techy stuff and mess around with it for the same reason. Seems like I have a thrill attention factor of about 3 months then whatever was fueling my interest needs to be replaced. I don't plan on a bunch of subscribers I mainly do it for my own enjoyment and hopefully others can get some enjoyment out of these videos as well. I have also recently got into biking and chronicling the sights in my area with my Insta360 One RS.

My continuing saga of pathetic gameplay ha ha. Seriously.. there was 1.5hrs of attempt that were reduced down to 23 minutes. It seriously sucks to suck. Thank god for editing.

I'm an old guy playing games that I am not very good at. If I didn't edit out a lot of the parts where it took me multiple times just to land on a ledge from the grapple or Die from combat then this video might have been a lot funnier and filled with cursing but would have been a lot longer. #behemoth

Just the start of the game. I have a VR PC but frankly the graphics are good enough for me when I compared the two, that I probably won't play the PC version. It just easier to slap the headset on and get right into it. #behemoth

About time I changed the brake pads on my bike. I noticed that the levers had a little more travel to them and I needed to apply more pressure so time for a change. Pads were $40 for front and rear and took me about 15 min to do both. Bike shop charge would have been $100. #ebike #gosenq7 #ebikebrakes

Took my new Helmet for a test ride. I wanted to see if the Mic in the helmet would connect to the X4 (which it did) and would it be ok when the bike was moving in the wind. why so many paintings of the same character?
I got a 13x19 photo printer and happened to be watching Evangelion at the time. Those were test prints. Later I had a blank wall so put them up and for whatever reason there they remain. Been there10 years now :)

Not to double post, but It runs soooo well on Quest, its kind of crazy. I also have PCVR and I like what you said about just putting it on and playing! Also the sense of scale is absolutely bananas
It doesn't have cloud saves either. So you once you start on one, if you get very far then you're kind of committed unless you don't mind starting over.
@@OldTechNerd Honestly, I kind of like that. It reminds me of back in the console days before cloud saves, where you stared a journey and just worked at it until you saved the world, or what have you. But I am glad you're enjoying it! I look forward to more videos :)

Yeah, saw the K1. I got the el cheapo a few years ago. My time I've spent in it has been some of the most content I've ever experienced, taking me to some of the most beautiful areas I've ever been. It cost relatively next to nothing, has held up great, and I can just smoosh it down and throw it in the back of my small relatively efficient vehicle. Use the removable keel though. I made the mistake of not using it once, wind picked up to 19mph and I had to fight with everything I had to keep it from wanting to spin around.
Beautiful views. I've got the same kayak 'Challenger 1', it's very inexpensive but actually works really well. I've used it in some pretty heavy swells on Lake Ontario with no problem. I'm thinking of investing in a pricier drop-stitch one next year.
Thanks for the comment. I used to have a regular kayak and loved it, but it got stolen and ow I don't have the space to store one or the vehicle to carry it, so I bought a two seater Sea Eagle that was great. It got stolen (well borrowed and never returned) finally I bought this one person and it was 1/4 the price and does the job. The Victoria BC area has some beautiful big and small lakes.

I have bonelab on quest app pc and it doesn’t show up on virtual desktop any help?
Right clicking the Virtual Desktop Streamer will allow you to launch a game that doesn't show up for whatever reason. Just browse for the game file .exe in Occulus Games/Software.
My problem from few days that VD don't detect my ethernet wired but it's wired with 1gb ethernet cable from years to my router, but the streamer say pc ethernet:NO, it ruined all my vr on pc and i don't fin d answers for now, any idea?
not sure but check that your ethernet is working. My pc has wired and wifi connectivity and there was a time when i hadnt noticed that my ethernet had stopped because everything still worked. The other thing is it could be a firewall or anti virus issue blocking streamer access. if everything else is connected to the network fine, then something is stopping the streamer from accessing the internet.

Hi there! I'm moving to Colwood soon and I'm really glad to come across your video know theres a trail. I'm planning to get an ebike as soon as I arrive. It would be my main transportation to work and to go around Victoria. I'm really looking forward to bike my way to downtown Victoria!

When i launch virtual dekstop and steamvr always launches by itself and i cant do things that i want to do because steamvr just launches i need an tutorial for this how to fix it

@@OldTechNerd would you mind telling me or directing me how you did it? I would like to do something similar with the quest 2 but native recording is garbage.
@@JustFunTymes This is HLA which runs thru Steam on your PC and mirrors the output to the PC screen and Quest at the same time.. Using OBS recording software (free) you can capture any window or screen and choose audio sources etc. To capture Native Quest output I use Sidequest ScrCpy and OBS

Great video! Have you tried working using Microsoft word in virtual desktop? If you did, Is the text readable? Can you use your keyboard and mouse?
