Damn, the animation almost got me crying. It is gorgeous and it's educational. I am not indigenous in any way, but my country, Trinidad and Tobago, has a small history of indigenous people who first settled there until the Spanish came there to harass them, but it is not the only one who probably completely changes eveything about my country. Other colonial empires bought africans and indians. Other nationalities such as chinese and syrians came here a long time ago because of the situation in their country.I am proud to be ethnically indian and african, but I am upset because today nobody has the ancestry of the first people in Trinidad. Sorry if this comment is long, I just want to provide some history of my country similar to this and appreciate the animation. We would have been speaking the same language as the Arawaks but the Spanish bought diseases and the Arawaks unfortunately endured a painful death. My country's history would have been so different.

My country ripped apart indigenous history so brutally I don't know my ancestry at all, and it is most likely from unwanted advances. I wish I could've learned more about my roots had it not been for colonization, I adore the way the country names and flags are steadily erased to instead reflect indigenous history!

I am not originally from any of those three countries as I am from South America, but I loved the fact that they touched on the existence of Native American tribes in the northern part of the continent, Especially because they also show the ancient indigenous culture of the two English-speaking countries (because I understand that in Mexico they teach that part a little more in depth), because at the end of the day They went through the same thing, colonization, and that is something that must be taken into account. The only difference was the way the indigenous people were treated during it, but it is still sad. I wonder what Canada and the United States would be like if native cultures had mixed and endured alongside the European one, that's something I've always wondered and imagined. I’m late to this BUT THIS IS SO PRETTY!!! LIKE THIS IS SO EYEPLEASING!!!! and I’m really happy to see more talk of indigenous peoples and their history in the country humans fandom and just online in general since they’ve been very repressed through history and even nowadays. It’s nice to see someone shedding light on this topic even if it barely scratches the surface of the cruel and unjust treatment of indigenous peoples [that’s not meant to be hate btw I love this video]. I also like the idea that there were representations of indigenous cultures before the European ones we know now took over which would be a good way to actually talk about what really happened [im more thinking or residential schools since I live in Canada, though I’m not sure if there was something similar in America and Mexico, I know they were repressed but I’m not sure what exactly happened]. All in all, banger video per usual Kirbo!
