when you say it brought you faster to a specific goal, what exactly did you mean by "faster", what time frame and compared to what? what was the measurement you took to compare your goals ?
I’ve focused on chin ups aggressively for maybe 2 years. I’ve always done them though but since the EMOMs + clusters the last 2yrs have been crazy. What are you at currently
@@prymalfit rested i can do 12-13 pullups from a dead hang, but at the moment, it feels like i've hit a wall because i've been stuck in this rep range for month now. it's not a grip strength issue. i regularly do famers carrie with 97lbs/44Kg dumbbells over a distance of 131feet/40m. dont be surprised, i usually use the metric system, cause i'm from germany. i will try your idea of the EMOMs and added weight, i haven't trained bodyweight exercises with additional weight for a long time .

Hi Jesse! I had never seen the EMOM approach for building pull up strength, sounds very interesting. How do you progress on this exercise? Should I do a few sessions with the same weight and then add a little extra weight on the next session? Also, how many times a week do you think is best to do this? Thanks!
Great question!!! Choose a weight to try. If you fail the EMOM that’s just the new level you could reach so next time try and do one more round. Once you successfully complete an EMOM try heavier and repeat!
I’ve done EMOMs every session. If you want to focus on purely chins and pull ups twice a week would be amazing! Maybe one heavier day one with the isos/eccentrics
I'm always in a deficit. No matter how much I eat or what I eat I can't get over 140lbs at 5'11". Any tips? I mean I was bitterly eating 15,000 calories a day at one point and lost weight over that summer.
