I have not personally tested the fit however I did some research on the dimensions of a padel racquet vs. a typical tennis racquet. I'm quite sure you'll be fine if you store 1 padel racquet. I THINK you could get 2 in there.

The rear compartment of the backpack would be used up by your racquets. You would then be able to fit your laptop within the main compartment of the backpack assuming your fold the main compartment's divider flat. Good to go.

@@BagasSept That's actually a small packet of string I'm putting in that pocket. No you would not be able to fit a laptop in there. I designed the pocket to be semi-shallow there so that small/medium sized items wouldn't not sink to the bottom of the bag.

They are very similar in size. To be exact: Dimensions of the Axiom Backpack 2.0 when full are 20” tall x 14” wide x 8” deep. Dimensions of the Aether Backpack when full are 20” high x 13” wide x 8.5” deep I wouldn't count on either backpack standing up on its own. The Axiom Racquet Bags stand up tall like a portable locker system on their own however.

I wouldn't count on the Axiom Backpack standing up on its own. I didn't design the bottom to do that specifically. The Axiom Racquet Bag does stand up stall on its own however. Two pickleball paddles with covers will fit easily in the rear padded racquet sleeve.

I've been looking and looking, buying and sending back pickleball backpacks that just weren't everything I wanted. This has it all: light interior, lots of organization pockets including mesh yes!, sturdy water bottle pockets on the outside that can hold my two Takeya 40oz bottles which aren't the flimsy net style, large enough with quality materials. @@nadzoll Yes! Welcome to the Geau Sport community. The Axiom Backpack 2.0 is about 36 liter capacity. The correct pronunciation of Geau is "Go" however my last name is pronounced Pay Zhoe.

First time I've heard of someone wanting to cover those vents... I'd say some duct tape is the best way to go for that, perhaps from the inside so it's not so ugly. Regarding the blue - it's all personal preference but I can say that I ended up on Aegean Blue based on a lot of consumer insight and color trend research.

@@geausportequipment Understood. As for covering the vents, it'd only be temporarily if caught in a downpour. Not a big deal either way, but it does make more sense to put the tape on the inside. Probably won't ever do it, but I was simply curious.

Yes, easily. Because the shelf positioning can be customized you can do that with ease.

The 9 pack is intended to hold 2 on each side. The 12 pack is intended to hold 3 on each side.

@@mikesuarez9780 The Axiom 9 pack can hold 9 racquets: 4 in the side racquet compartments and 5 in the main compartment. The "9" refers to the total capacity potential for racquets - which is the same nomenclature used for all other tennis bags.

@@mikesuarez9780 You can remove the dividers's within the main compartment if you want. It's one of the more unique features of the Axiom Racquet Bag. 5 will fit inside the main compartment with ease.

Great insight. If you fold the main compartment dividers flat against the back of the bag you will easily fit a laptop in there. With that said, perhaps a devoted compartment would be nice too.

Hi Gus. Thanks for the insight. In our opinion, the saying "you get what you pay for" still applies to tennis bags. A lot more goes into our bags and they aren't for everyone.

Thanks for insight. I'm curious what features are on the Vessel backpack that you'd like to see on the Geau Axiom backpack? We don't have a separator because when polling tennis players, the majority said that they didn't value it much. Didn't want to add in something that most didn't want.

@@geausportequipment The only must-have feature for me would be a sternum strap. I could easily live with the other minor deficiencies.

Thanks Ptenis Nut. Interesting insight about carrying as a duffel - perhaps a feature to consider in a next version.

I also prefer a duffel style for racquets. I have the old Wilson Red 6-pack bag and have used it for over twenty years. It is adequate and I have some complaints about it but it been okay for a long time. Two people I play with have the same bag though one is a lot older (it's bleached by the sun). I like the bag except for the lack of stiffness - it works fine with tennis racquets on one side but the other side sags - doesn't hold its shape. The handle could be better. I also don't need the backpack straps. I don't like things that try to do too much at the same time. The reason I prefer a duffel is that sometimes I'll bring a laptop with me to the club and I carry that in my backpack. I do have Ogio gym bags and I like that they are sturdy and have solid zippers. You usually don't see higher levels of quality in standard racquet bags.
