I had a guest move my light when it was on my Speaker stand and cracked one of my antennas so I ordered 2 extra antennas.

How are you liking the lights??

Seems like nice little mixer for Small Gigs or Ceremony's!!! I just picked up a QSC TouchMix 8 Digital Mixer for large gigs but especially for Weddings.. Great Video!!

For the update you take 48 won't batteries 2 of them. And you got the new 3600 generators. That take 48 V batteries. Now it's worth getting that generator cause now. I'll use it just to charge up batteries and get some extra batteries for it. And just have it like charge up no 8 batteries. It's time to tendency even though I can't hook up 5 and watch the solar panels to each of those batteries. That makes more charging more quicker, especially when winter comes in there. Aint that much like anyhow to suck? And you already took them up to which month with the 3600. D what batteries, which also goes to the 1500. No I found a really good use for that generator

As a car charger thing, I got a plug in when I get pulled. Get into something like that and then choke it up to a 100. Watt hybrid fridge solar panel.

I haven't jumped into the line arrays yet. Just pushing my bulky EV systems until they don't work anymore. I have been looking though. I like the EV50. How does the J8 compare to the 50? Do Maui has anything similar to the 50?

I always scratch my head when people talk about going out of their market area to DJ events. My question is, what makes the DJ's on the panel think they can be better than the DJ's that are already in that big city market? It would cost the clients more for that DJ to travel to that market. Maybe they are better, but interested to see what their answer is.

I have been trying to figure out a way to make my music files in my Serato crates to all playback the same volume. I have been trying to figure out ways with no luck. Does anyone know how to do this? I have music downloaded from CD's, MP3's and MP4's. They just seem to play at different levels and I am constantly making adjustments.

Started getting last minute calls, plus couple cancellations. This economy is killing the small businesses.

Great Lights, I have set only thing you have to watch are the antennas. I had them mounted on my speaker stands and a guest some how hit the light and it moved and snapped the antenna. They are super bright!!!

I don't know. I have a clean quick set-up that I get lot of compliments at each event. I don't think a $3k dj table is worth it if crowds are 250 and less. They are very nice looking that is for sure. But seems over-priced.

If you were the client and dropping $1,000 to $1,500 for a DJ, what would your expectations of the DJ be? What DJ skills would you expect? What kind of sound-system and lighting would you expect?

Great quote "Good DJs are cheap but cheap DJs aren't good". But..you can't just have nice equipment and think you are a good DJ that can charge more than what your skills are worth. A good marketing technique are to post videos of people dancing to not just line dances.

I am nearing my last few years of DJ'ing before I pass the torch on. I am gonna keep looking for the events that will give me the feeling of personal accomplishment. I will say the host of the movie premiere after party I did asked me if I would be willing to be flown out to another state for future parties. I answered with a firm "Definitely!!" That gig opened several doors.

Phynex Pro is working unbelievable for me and other DJs. I trust Phynex Pro and Synhyzsr has cut out on a few DJs I know

I seen Karaoke at a Wedding and it was a Train Wreck. We will not do or offer karaoke for a wedding reception.

Doing the same types of events over and over again can get a bit old. I always look for event opportunities that give a change of pace. Even if it doesn't pay a little less than a wedding. Recently, I got chosen to do a high profile movie premiere after party for SXSW 24 in Austin that past February. This was an event of my "DJ Bucket List" as well. Do you all like taking the lower paying event to do something unique? And do you all have a "DJ Bucket List"?
