@@Jalen884 So let me ask - Are you condoning we sing songs in church that were not designed to bring God praise? Chris Tomlin doesn't do this nonsense at his concerts🤷😂It's laughable. Honestly, his choice to combine the songs was not to lead people into the Presence of God - it was just to be hype. I've been a musician for 19 years leading worship in Mega & Small churches, & our duty is to lead people into the Presence of God. If we won't praise him he'll raise the very stones to do so... Let our actions in the things of God be meaningful with much intent, especially nowadays. (Btw, I've got nothing against secular music - I'm just saying there is a time & place for everything.) Church is a sacred space, we cannot let ourselves desacrilize that space by detracting from God. Please have a listen to Heart of Worship by Michael W. Smith & take note of the lyrics in the bridge - I'm sure you'll enjoy it🔥🤞
