My thoughts on my new to me Kawasaki ZH2 SE naked bike
Nice buy sir i got my first one zx4rr time for a zx10rr when i get more miles (kms)
Did you sell the zx10r yet, I might be interested
I recently purchased a brand new out of the crate 2023 from my local dealer. I have just over 400 miles on it. My initial impression is very positive. It handles well. My previous bike was a 2015 Triumph Tiger 800XR., which i loved, but wanted an upgrade. The ride is a definite upgrade. Love the motorized windscreen and the heated grips. My negatives include wishing the mirrors were set wider. I'm not a b8g guy but seeing traffic behind me takes me shifting from side to side. The kickstand takes some aiming my foot between the foot peg and the center stand to put it down. The instrument package isn't the best. I find it hard to read the engine information in bright sunshine. Overall, im very happy with my new ride.
I recently bought a 2025 ZX10R KRT and I’m 69. Did a two hour trip down to Fort Lauderdale to get her Dyno Tune. And another two hours back. Overall the position not too bad, but it does have a hard seat for long rides. Also don’t like the the cruise can only be set to around only 75. I was doing 84-100 MPH most of the trip down and back home. They should at least allow 85 for cruise control. You’ll get run off the road going so slow. But I do love the bike. I also own a 23 Z900.
I’m an older guy like you that has been thinking about getting a new kwaka ZX 10R for a while now. You say that you are fairly comfortable on the bike. I’m around 5 foot 7 in. How tall are you?
I have a 2024 ZH2 but like yourself I change my bikes frequently. I am thinking about a Triumph Rocket 3 Storm but I am concerned about the weight! I am 75 now so not as strong as I used to be. I like the ZH2 very much but after 2 hours riding my knees stiffen up. Why did you sell your Rocket 3? Thanks for uploading!
I can ride my zx10r 2/3 hours at time no problem. More than that and it starts to get uncomfortable.
Way too heavy Bad buffeting from factory screen Handles like a fishing boat No quick shifter in 2024 Very dated ergonomics and tech Feel sorry for police officers riding this pig all day everyday
Im 48 and ive owned 19 bikes total probably 15 of them are sport liter bikes. Age is only a number the most important is your mental state and of course physical shape. I currently own 24 street triple moto2 but about to pull the trigger on a 24 40thanniversary Zx10R or a 60th anniversary R1(used). I can never imagine riding nothing else but sport. Enjoy!
Have you had any electrical issues with the bike mine is an 06 FJR and has the dreaded spider bite to the S4 and S6 do you no how it can be fixed
Dragon's Tail is highly over rated brother...I live in North Carolina. All my riding friends prefer the Cheroholla Skyway...a much much nicer ride!! Great video by the way!!! 👍🏻 👍🏻
My brother bought the same one two weeks ago. $19,500
I purchased 2025 Ninja zx-10r KRT Edition
About to have a similar crises myself. 😎👍
I’m 48 and just bought a 2024 zx10r. Absolutely love it! More comfortable than i thought it would be. Same as you, i sat on the BMW S1000RR, ive sat on steel softer than the BMW seat. Traded in a 2024 Ninja 1000sx to get the 10r. So far, very happy with my decision. Yes, im a bike addict as well.
I'm 63 and cut my teeth on a 1200 vmax got addicted to the power but needed more Just added a 05 zx12r to collection Holy shit 😮iv got all I need now
This video is now a year old, are you still happy with the bike? Can you share, what colour is the background lighting on the dashes? Have you had second gear issues with the bike. It's the one MAIN reason I haven't putlled the pin yet on a 2024 Thanks for the vid. I always appreciate those who spend the time putting them together for others entertainment or knowledge pass on.
Good video, looks like a great bike. Your video and audio was great on your ride segment.
I'm 60y with a ninja h2, aprilia tuono, g3 busa,h2 sx, never say die😅
Brand New keep it under 6.000rpm not 4.000rpm
57 got a 2008 zx10r and the 2023KRT zx10r. 97,000 on the 08!21,000 on my new zx10r ride on!!
Mines 11 years old, I pull a trailer with it on 3 or 4 week tours around Europe heading over on the Euro tunnel to Calais. Nearly 80,000 miles on it, by far the best bike in 40 years of riding all sorts of bikes. Shame we can’t get the new ones in the Uk.😞.Great vlog👍🏼.
I'm 41, looking to get my first bike!
Hope everything is OK. Miss your videos and hope you are able to post something soon. Take care.
been thinking about getting one.. but the fuel consumption is a concern
Not stupid lol 😂 your wife probably told you that I’m guessing 😅 enjoy brother
I'm 68 n have been riding a Zx1400 since 2006. I have 2015 bought new that year. Bought my first 900 in 1974. 😎
Haha im 53 about to buy new litre bike. Enjoy brother
I was eager for you to get on the freeway. I wanted to see you really rev it, but then remembered you re doing break-in miles, so good you did not. I love this bike and always wanted one since they came out. I rode my CBR1100XX on the Tail of the Dragon: def a great life experience for anyone who loves sport riding
Your age has nothing to do with anything. Just keep good maintenance going, and that thing will keep you happy. It's between that KAW and the Suzuki, the only really good choices. Yeah, for break-in, just don't lug the engine, vary your RPMs for about 200 miles. Dump the oil and filter at about 200 miles, refill with good oil and stock filter, you're ready to enjoy. By the way, I'm going on 67 years old and ride a sportbike.
I’m 52 and I just bought one
love your honesty ngl
subscribed just because of your bomb channel name
I turned 60 and went from a Harley to a Busa 🤭 No regrets
I am 64 and currently looking for a super sport myself. riding a HD Electra glide now. Love it for touring. I need a bike for fun as you've suggested. glad to see older guys rocking the Super Sports. Inspirational.
I ride a 2016,im so tired of these videos showing some goof going straight and flapping his gums..why don't you take this bike on a really twisty road at speed and show how this bike carves corners. I've worn out sets of foot pegs and chase sport bikes through the twisty! For a medium size bike it handles very well!
I thought Dragon's Tail is in Tennessee??
Right on! I rode GSXR's, Ninja's, TL1000R back in my late 20's / early 30's in the late '90s/early '00s and did all that stupid stuff, wheelies, riding too fast etc. it was fun back then but glad I survived and moved onto Harley's to slow down a bit and ride safer/slower. Currently 54 years old and still have a couple Harleys (StreetGlide & Fatboy) but just picked up a Suzuki GSX-8R to have some fun and change it up a little bit. I guess it never really leaves your blood... LOL. Now I'm looking to get a ZX10R like yours or a CBR1000RR to enjoy. I want a garage full of bikes too, much to my wife's chagrin hahaha. Like you, I like to watch the young guys on RUclips and leave that stuff crazy stuff to them... I'm too old for that stuff now. Subbed!! Keep the rubber side down my friend.
Goofy menus? …. Had a 2023 Africa Twin …. That had goofy menus. lol.
Any new upgrades?
Enjoyed the video immensely! I’m almost 60 and am currently riding a Ninja 1000SX. Had been almost embarrassed to admit this grandfather still enjoys riding the crotch-rockets,so was happy to find other like minded enthusiasts! Subscribed!!
Hi I have question for you: when the engine is hot (normal driving temp), did you hear any difference in its engine sound when squeezing the clutch lever? For some reason, mine does give the strange sound, when squeezing it, the engine sounds smooth but when release it fully (in neutral), I can hear the engine sounds a little rough and vibrates. Is yours like that too? Mine is 2023 ES just like yours, we bought almost at the same time :) I took it to the dealer where I bought it from, they said it is normal which I do not think so. I called Yamaha, and they made a notation about my report. If yours sounds the same, then perhaps it is normal, although I do not like to hear/feel it when the engine runs. From cold to warm, no issues. Only when it is hot . Thank's.
Ill be gettojg my first sportbike next year after im released after quad tendon repair surgery
Hope all is well and please MORE VIDEOS! 😁
hope you keep making videos.
I’m 61 years old and i love ride my zx10r
Are you kidding? By 55 I'll probably be getting an Aprilia or a Ducati after the SV650 I just bought. Riding is awesome. Do it while you can and enjoy it.
The answer is no. At six foot and two hundred and sixty pounds, the answer is no. I bought the twenty twenty one when the new generation came out, and I returned it back to the dealership for something else in about five days. The answer is no
What about 5'7 one hundred sixty five pounds
@@realkingtv7885 You might be pretty comfortable TBH
Amazing ride. I am currently looking at purchasing one.
Don’t feel bad I’m 47 and all I own is crotch rockets, 3 R1’s and I’m going to continue to ride till I can’t, I even got right hip surgery and I rode my R1 yesterday for the first time this summer, it felt uncomfortable but I was happy.
