@@MajorDeliveries absolutely 👍. Thanks for watching!
I’m not in the same line of work. I will give repeat customers a price break once a year or so. I’m a hairdresser.
@@ballard_83 Cool! I bet you get a lot of repeat customers .
I do, but it depends what it is and who the customer is.
@@krakenjunkremoval absolutely! It really does depend on on customer for me as well
it’s like you’re throwing stuff into the abyss. totally strange. I love it.🖖😎🤘🇺🇸
@@iamNow1111 wouldn’t that be great if you could haul trash into the void instead of a landfill

America!
I grew up near a train hub and my neighbor was a train engineer. As a kid he would let us go into the locomotive. . Those locomotives are powerful and impressive. I always end up living near train tracks and enjoy the sound of them going by.
@GoodAttitudesServices That's cool, probably have some good memories of those times. I've always wanted to travel sound the US on a train. They have something like that in NC, not sure how far it goes. Always been intrigued by them.
Trains are awesome😊
Yeah they are . I never get bored watching freight trains go by ! Thanks for watching

Arizona sweet tea and a fresh cut! 👍 Good video. Part of our service is to help people, so once in a while I'll get ppl asking about hazardous waste or wanting stuff done for free l. I just point them in the right direction. I feel it's the least I can do. 🤷♂️
If you can build a network of customers who value your time and effort, you're golden, because they will likely let their friends know. And as they say, birds of a feather flock together. I get a good amount of jobs off CL. I know some of them are price shopping, some of them may even be competition, just asking for prices, but i dont care.
@@krakenjunkremoval absolutely! I like that : birds of a feather flock together!
I take paint if it's hardened so if scheduling out I tell the clients so they can dry it out. Otherwise can't take it! Your doing the right thing! ✅
@@junksquad sometimes customers forget and throw it in the bags . If I notice it later I’ll just sort it out . Luckily my transfer station is just down the street .I’ll collect what I find and just drive it over when I’m not working. They take it free of charge.
interesting and different 🤘
@@iamNow1111 thanks !
I leave it at the customers place lol. Dont take that stuff.

There's many many customers that don't value your time. I've had thousands of people and most end up getting deleted never liked telling others wat to do
I see ya.. now I don't! 😁🥂
Thanks ! I was experimenting with the editing tools
That's cool do you spend a lot of time editing?
Here in minnesota, most junk removal companies charge by volume. So they charge based on how much room and item is going to take up in their truck or trailer. They charged by a quarter trailer, half trailer, 3/4 trailer, full load. I myself charge basically based on what the landfill is going to charge me and because of that my prices tend to be a lot cheaper. So if an item at the landfill is going to cost me to say $28 and the customer is in town, I'm going to charge them like 60 or 70. That way it covers dump cost and taxes and gas. I would also have a little bit left over for labor. If they're out of town or if I would have to go up or down a flight of stairs, I charge three times the amount what the landfill would charge me. And I'm always very transparent with a potential customer as to how I arrived at a dollar amount
@@bpjunkremovalandtransport2416 cool! Is that for a single item? What if it’s a half load of garbage and it’s still the minimum fee at the transfer station . The minimum fee in my area is $21 and that includes up to 300 lbs .
@@GoodAttitudesServices it's both actually. But the difference is how to transfer station here in minnesota, if I bring in say for couches or six chairs or something like that, instead of charging me MSW rates, they charge me single item prices with 17% MSW tax. But if I'm bringing in say bags of garbage or a load of cardboard etc then they just charge me MSW rates. We have a more expensive State though. Our minimum at the transfer station I go to is 92.50 + 17% MSW tax. And that's up to 2000 lb. If I brought in a load of say demo, the minimum they charge is $73 plus MSW tax and again not is up to 2000 lb. Anything over 2000 lb for demo is $48 a ton. But like I said though when it comes to things like furniture both small and large and mattresses and appliances etc, they charged me single item prices
That is a bit more complicated than my transfer station . Here it’s 121.27 per ton with a minimum charge of $19.80 up to 300lbs and I think a 3.6 %. Tax . @@bpjunkremovalandtransport2416.
@@GoodAttitudesServices that is why I always have a price sheet on me so I can keep track of how much they charge for what
Yep, Quality clients over quantity is my mission now days✅ Im familiar with the CL bs too..yada yada!🤣🚩
My original estimate was $440 but it only ended up maybe a 3rd of the truck if that it was mostly cardboard. I ended up charging $350 . Most of it I’ll recycle . So probably a $20 fee at transfer station . And it was close to my house some no mileage fee
@@GoodAttitudesServices Always easier to drop the price vs raise it too and everyone was happy. Good biz, good price for amount too I'd say!

I used to do full house moves but lately just mainly small apartment moves and furniture delivery from stores or Craigslist purchases and Facebook Marketplace
Above 100 😯Stay cool out there. Do you do full house moving jobs or just small jobs? I thought about doing the same thing with my box truck. Although it's practically new, I still don't want to take it out 50 miles and and use all that gas and put all those miles on it. Probably just try to use it for the close, local jobs.

@@GoodAttitudesServices Got the perfect size truck for there kinds jobs. I kind of dislike the big jobs lol, because they take up so much. I'd rather stack a handful of small or medium size jobs up and keep it moving. I guess I hate being tied down.

@@junksquad yeah it’s a big difference driving a new vehicle. I’m looking for one of those cargo vans used from uhaul . The hold a lot of weight and you could probably tow a good sized trailer with one as well
