It's called lookism and it's part of natural selection and biology, we forgive mistakes by genetically gifted people because we subconsciously don't want to remove those genes from our species gene pool. Women even more so in the hopes that those men will give them children. And yes beauty is objective, science has already figured out what the ideal ranges are for each human feature. Again it's just biology, beauty is how good genetics and biological health indicators express themselves, and humans (as are all animals) are coded to be attracted to it.
