Lots of mixed feelings lol. If I had a choice I'd go with the Chop Shop DLC hops instead of this 100%, it's definitely worse but I don't hate it at all. You can still do so much on it and it speedhops are more controllable, it's just a lil bit slower. Plex and I have been bmxing since 2013, so the recent change is similar to OG hop height so we can adjust to it fine, grinds etc are also more manageable compared to the high hop BMX but it is nowhere at the OG physics level. I just don't mind the hop height part as much personally lol, but I know it's super jarring bmxing now for people who got used to that huge hop. It really was a blast using tho As much fun as the Chop Shop DLC moon hop BMX was, it ruined so much old stunting tech, hundreds of classic BMX Skill races made since 2013 became impossible, plus some tricks in old stunting BMX tutorials became outdated. It made PVP even more insane on how aggressive you could play, but honestly at some point we really just wanted to go back to the OG physics, but NOT these physics lmao. I wish we could get ahold of someone at Rockstar and get OG BMX + Chop Shop DLC BMX both in game at once ☹️ This current patch, the BMX physics are the exact same as Chop Shop DLC high hop BMX, only the hop height is lower. The one thing that makes these two updates so much different from OG physics is that the hop orientation has been messed up since Chop Shop DLC, and the bike hop goes in the direction your head is rather than being based off of the world orientation like it always has been. It's hard to explain but this basically makes old tricks like reverse hops where you gain speed impossible. Also makes tiretaps you do during grind combos and framebounces super inconsistent and finicky. It felt so wrong for Rockstar to randomly change physics of a bike that many of us spent like a decade mastering out of the blue. But the community absolutely loved the Chop Shop DLC bike tho so I wouldn't mind if we still had it if that means more people overall get into BMXing. Sorry for the essay lmao

Ladder launcher glitch lmao. Okay so keyboard for example my sprint is on Left Shift, and Forward/Backward is on W and S. It's muscle memory at this point so I hope I don't do a bad job explaining, there's yt tutorials too. Basically I get on ladder, while holding shift I do a quick tap with W and halfway through animation press S and it will send you flying if it's a good ladder, also if you have good fps it gives you more height. You launch way higher with extra fps for whatever reason lol F is the button you can get off of the ladder with, and I hit that after going upwards above the ladder so I can leave grab animation. Then I start moving mid air in the direction I need before I get ragdolled. On Xbox controller for example it's the same. You would grab ladder, while holding A push up on left stick then down quick halfway through the animation. Then once you start flying upwards tap Y when you go above the ladder to let go.

Oh btw got can do this on console too, all of our PVP vids on the channel are mostly M&K on PC but I have a 20 minute long Xbox BMX kills montage where I'm playing free aim with revolver on the BMX if you want to see that controller free aim is viable. The game does have a pre baked deadzone, but depending on the controller you you can raise the stick sens to the point where the pre baked deadzone shrinks and you have fine control. When I say raise stick sens I don't mean in game but in the controller software for your controller. I made another vid here specifically for controller settings so you can rotate faster on BMX/moto. You could apply this same calibration method to right stick if your controller is a PS4/PS5 or Xbox Series controller. I used a Turtle Beach Recon controller in the Xbox vid and had my right stick squared. If you need any help or want me to explain anything else lemme know
