We do use them interchangeably, my daughters cherish all of their toys. This batch of decluttering had a lot of “had some at my house, had some at moms.” And then after everything, I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of their favorite toys too so I kept them.😔 I will let them tell me when they are ready to part with them since they do get use. We’re all just doing our best over here.❤️💕

Thank you! I’d like to get to a point I can do more of that. My mom was HUGE into crafts and a lot of my childhood revolved around that. I’d really love to get back into that on a larger scale like projects like this!

It pained me so much to toss some of the things! It was a huge eye opener to force me to be more self aware of my purchases..😔 I did donate anything that wasn’t opened to a local food pantry. 🙏🏻 Thanks for the sentiment about the house! It seems pretty counterproductive until you try it. 😅 It becomes easier to forgive yourself when you say “I am stressed, I realize I am stressed and this stress is telling me I do not have inventory for this task in this time of my life.” 💕

​@ForgetTheHouse it does seem like being counterproductive wouldn't work but in this instance I can see how it can be helpful. I don't think I've come across anyone with this mindset and I think it's a good one. Just subscribed and looking forward to more good content

Thank you for recognizing that! It really came to me out of nowhere. I felt so defeated and I kept catching myself saying “hold on baby mommy’s gotta clean this real fast”.. I felt like a broken record. I said forget it I am not missing out on anymore time. Once I started to notice a pattern of it actually helping me in the long run, I was excited to forget the house! I gave myself permission to go to park for hours or do a fun project like my DIYs and the VALUE I felt in those moments outweighed any of that physical clutter.😮‍💨🙏🏻

Hey Samantha, thank you for your comment! Yes, I can make a video on the whole set up if you’d like. You’ll see a better angle in part 2 but they’re low loft beds. I have stuffed animals underneath as a hang out zone. My daughters are level 1 autistic so it’s really great for their decompressing time and also a massive space saver. I’ll go into more detail in my video! Stay tuned! 💕 Came back to add my daughters are 4 and 6!
