I could not find a houseboat that was functional for my family so I decided to build one from scratch. I am very excited about how this project is turning out time and money wise. Got to test out the houseboat on water. So far all material cost is approximately $6,000 plus cost of motor. I didn't get a chance to find out the weight of the houseboat yet.
