Maxwell's Cork Screw Rule 3d Animation
Просмотров 62 тыс.3 года назад
Maxwell screw rule said that the screw is placed as a conductor, as we know that conductor is conduct electricity. When a screw is rotated the direction of rotation taken as the direction of magnetic fields and the direction in which the screw is placed taken as the direction of the current. Here a simple video for your understanding,
Gas Cooled Nuclear Reactor
Просмотров 14 тыс.3 года назад
Hello Friends! It’s time to learn about the Gas-Cooled Reactor. A gas-cooled reactor (GCR) is a nuclear reactor that uses graphite as a neutron moderator and carbon dioxide as coolant. Although there are many other types of reactors cooled by gas, the terms GCR and to a lesser extent gas-cooled reactor are particularly used to refer to this type of reactor.

Do you know what does CANDU stands for? It stands for… Canada Deuterium Uranium It’s invented and designed in Canada. It’s a power reactor of PHWR type or Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor type that uses heavy water for moderator and coolant and natural uranium for fuel. Alright, so let’s see the design and working of a CANDU reactor…

In physics, radiation is the emission or transmission of energy in the form of waves or particles through space or through a material medium. Let's understand the concept behind the radiation.
Electromagnetism

If we loop the single wire and pass current into this, we get a stronger magnetic field than the single straight wire. How? The magnetic field circling each loop of wire combines with the magnetic fields from the other loops to produce a concentrated field down the center of the coil. This phenomenon where the magnetic field is created from the movement of electrical charges is called electroma...
Tan Delta Measurement using Schering Bridge
Просмотров 8 тыс.6 лет назад
Schering Bridge is an electric circuit used for measuring the insulating properties of electrical cables and equipment. It is an AC bridge circuit developed by Harald Schering and hence the name Schering Bridge. Schering bridge is used to measure the capacitance of the capacitor, dissipation factor, and measurement of relative permittivity. In this video, you will learn about Tan Delta Measurem...
Introduction to Energy Band Theory - Material Science
Просмотров 91 тыс.6 лет назад
The Energy Band Theory describes the range of energy of an electron within the solid. It also specifies the range of energy that it may not have. Here, you will be introduced to the energy band theory, that has been used to explain many physical properties of solids. Optical absorption and electrical resistivity are some of the properties that have been well explained by this theory. Subscribe ...

Ionization of Gas by Photo Radiation
Просмотров 19 тыс.6 лет назад
Ionization is the process of through which an atom or molecule becomes either positive or negative. This is due to gain or loss of electrons. An atom or molecule becomes positive when it loses electrons and vice versa. Ionization can be of different types such as Thermal, Electron, Chemical, Adiabatic and Photo Ionization. In this video, we will see the Ionization of Gas by Photo Radiation.
Working of Cooling Tower - Nuclear Power Plant
Просмотров 214 тыс.6 лет назад
For any efficient power plant to function at its optimum level, cooling towers form an essential unit. They are used to transfer heat and cool the water. These towers are huge and can be up to 200 meters. We will learn about the working of cooling towers in a nuclear power plant. We will also learn about the two types of cooling towers i.e. Cross-flow Tower and Counter-flow Tower.
Working of Nuclear Reactor
Просмотров 145 тыс.6 лет назад
Nuclear Reactor is the heart of any Nuclear Power Plant. It's a device wherein a nuclear chain reaction starts and is controlled. The reactors are either used for electricity generation or propulsion of ship. Here, we will understand the complete working of a Nuclear Reactor along with its three core components i.e. fuel elements, moderator and control Rods.
Introduction to Nuclear Power Plant
Просмотров 6 тыс.6 лет назад
The need for electricity is on a rise due to the ever-increasing population. To meet this requirement we needed a viable source of electricity. This is when Nuclear Power Plant proves to be the most efficient way of electricity production. Here's an overview of a Nuclear Power Plant with its important units.
Working of Diesel Power Plant

Thank you for much needed explanation. Most anti nuclear energy activists think that the clean water vapour emitting from these towers are a toxic pollution. They don’t even understand the basic fundamentals yet they think they are experts. Greenwashing fanatics gone wild.

You forgot to specified that the condenser should be painted with barium sulfate paint that reject the heat into out space instead of the atmosphere that will help to heat up the planet. Where as when the heat is rejected into space with the sky cool barium sulfate paint, it doesn't heat up the environment because the heat is not trap in the atmosphere.

Funny how you have the video titled as ionization of gases by photon radiation, but never mention/explain that in the video. You simply stop at photoelectric effect induced electron ejection in solids. No gases mentioned at all!😮

I think that is wrong that heavy water goes to steam generator. Heavy water surround normal water in separeted loop.

    • @LordZontar
      @LordZontar 3 месяца назад

The term "steam generator" is simply an alternative for "heat exchanger". And it's the normal water than surrounds the heavy water cycling through the exchanger circuit, not the other way around. Same arrangement as with any standard PWR design. Unpressurised heavy water surrounds the pressure tubes in the calandria and performs the moderator function as well as serving as a huge heat sink to passively keep the entire reactor core below meltdown temperature, however this water does not cycle through the system.

At Radomcorp, we have a ring of alumina ceramic conducting 200 amps of 2.45ghz RF current (making plasma) and the ceramic doesn't get hotter then 60C. I think the band theory has been disproven, or they need to make a new class for us.
