Mr. Ahmad Farroukh, First of all, let me congratulate and thank Smile and its leadership, for coming up with such a brilliant and cheap communication solution, to a lot of Africans in the Diaspora. For years before Smile came to our rescue: I had to think twice before picking up my phone to call a family member or a friend in Tanzania. Not only was it difficult to find a secure and reliable phone card, but also the majority of them were very expensive! However, for a couple of years now, Smile Voice in Tanzania has had one annoying problem: Frequent monthly service blackouts. As we speak, it has been three days now Tanzanians in the US have not been able to make phone calls back home. All we get every time we try to call over there is; "Internal Server Error". And that is not the only problem; the second nuisance is that, smile doesn't restore your bundle that expires during these blackouts! We have so many questions: What's wrong with smile customer care service in Tanzania? How come we are going on the third day without service, without explanation or apology! Is Smile company on a ventilator? Is the CEO even aware about the problem and the implications of it? Please do something about this! Don't take advantage of your customers, we are losing time and money!
