Hey man thanks For all the great work and fixes . Have you ever fixed the overdrive issue with these obs? I have a 95 Eddie 5.0 Bauer and I feel that it takes to long to shift or hesitant. I tried checking fuses ( they are all good ) I tried checking the abs box underneath the ash try ( people on forums said to unplug ) . I tried unplugging the battery for 30 min . I just ordered the speed sensor . Will update on that . Your help would be greatly appreciated!. Thanks in advance!
I ended up sending the PSOM to a company that rebuilds them and it fixed the OD issue and now my truck is shifting perfectly fine .
Hey im wondering if you can helo me out i have a 94 5.8 with high idle when the truck warms up and when in high idle the shifts are terrible any idea what it could be?
U have to have a vacuum leak somewhere. Make sure all of ur vacuum lines are not cracked/broken.
I have a 93 f150... My tachometer went out at the same time the transmission stopped shifting on its own... I swapped out my distributor thinking it was the cam position sensor that was the problem but it's still doing it.. I'm thinking it must be a wiring issue or maybe the ignition control module but at this point I'm stumped
Is there any reason to make the adjustment lower and not removing it from the truck?

It will shift into any other gear fine just first i have to rev it a little for it to go into first or just wait
Sounds like a torque converter issue. Any blinking overdrive light on the shifter?

how did you end up changing the bolt pattern? cant find anything good for factory 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

I live in New Mexico A/C not an issue for me as long I got a heater I’m good bro…. Especially now mucho Frio…..
Also it shifts a little hard while in operation shifting gears get sticky hard to put in reverse it pops sometimes reversing … bleed the line out replace the clutch line and fill it back up and pump the air out while the clutch cylinder is full keep filling every 5 to 10 pumps ? What’s the easiest for you replacing the clutch line to the transmission and bleed the line out ?

Im working on it any tips on the driveshaft lubricant areosal or the actual white ford grease to use any suggestions?
Going over my '93 f 150, just for giggles, I replaced the computer with one flashed in this century, i figured a 30 year old laptop wouldn't work so good, and they aren't that that expensive
Interesting… would love more information.. I have a 1996 5.0l and need to tune it or upgrade the computer… what exactly did you do?
The computer i think is about $150, it's under the dash above the driver's left foot, but you have to go under the hood to get it out, make sure you get the computer for stick, or automatic, they're different, don't ask me how I know,
On that truck you are supposed to disconnect the Spout …… nevermind just as I was typing this, you started talking about the spout connector. Lol

question, i have the same problem but i wanted to ask, i looked into the fuel bowl and noticed that the level of fuel was at about 1/4 or even less. Did you notice the same on yours? Do you have to remove the fuel bowl in order to get to the IPR?
U don't have to remove it but u might have to loosen it to get to the IPR. My fuel bowl wasn't that low, but America diesel is very dirty. I always changed out my fuel filter every time I did an oil change. Sometimes sooner. Having a lot of gunk in the tanks can create a clogged fuel filter. What year is ur truck?

I saw your video on the 92 high idle issue and I have the 93 E150 5.8l club wagon van with some high and low idle at start then it races to a high idle THAG doesn't come down even if I hit the gas. I have to shut it down and restart it and then idles ok. I changed out the IAC Valve, throttle position sensor, map sensor, everything and still does it. Could it be a vacuum leak or any suggestions...?
So u have a high AND low idle issue??? Have u tried cleaning the throttle body with brake clean? It's gonna have to come off for a thorough cleaning. High idle is 95% vacuum leak. But if ur having both issues, it could be the coolant temp sensor going bad. That sensor tells the computer when the coolant has warmed up the engine to operating temps. It will give a high idle signal to the computer until it reaches those temps and then the idle will go down. Of course, do the cheaper one first, which ever it may be for u.
I have a question for you I have an f150 1992 and the reverse doesn't work when ot get had. Do I need to replace the transmission or is there any kind of band adjustments for this situation? . Thanks

Have u checked the codes? They have digital code readers for the OBD1 port under ur hood at the local auto parts place. Of u can do the paperclip trip. U might have a bad solenoid pack.

No it didn't. It's a whole lot better and comfortable. No more hiking my foot way up to get to the pedal.
Hey boss, I have a 94 4.9 Manual. I recently changed the shifter ball bushing but it’s starting to wear out again after a couple weeks and it struggles to get in gear sometimes. Any suggestions?
What name brand did u go with? Sometimes even new parts are defective either right out of the box or have a short life.

it is possible that you can help me the problem that I have they say that the diesel line has air Because the truck turned off running I put Diesel and now it does not want to start I already changed the Ipr and the icp still not to start I already drained the batteries several times and the truck still won't start do you think you can help me I'm in Houston too .tanks

@julioarenas8476 Well, it pretty much is a task. But I'm so glad that I was able to do it bc the ride quality is a lot better than the truck's original suspension.

I traded my Grand Marquis Colony park for a 1990 f150 a month ago difficult to start ran okay after watching many videos on timing and base idle decided to attempt timing adjustment without a light and after a few hiccups by some miracle today dialed it in and she starts right up everytime now to fix the miss 🎉

How did you manage to get 5X4.5 in the front? 5 X 5.5 has no selection for wheels. How can i convert my front on 67 bump side?
I did a crown vic swap for the front end. I have a few videos on that build and what to look for. The crown vic vehicle will lower the front of the truck and has the 5x4.5 lug spacing.
I have a 66 and some 5 spoke 18s 5x4.5 look like Fooses but I don't want to do the crown vic. Ridler makes some decent 5x5.5 up to 20s
That looks fantastic, one of the nicest DIY consoles I have seen. I have a 69 F100 I am rebuilding so I may borrow (steal?) your ideas. Is there anything you would change on your design or do different now that it is finished? Such as materials or features? Thanks for posting this, great job.
Thanks!!! U can have the idea. As far as any changes... I would make a small coin tray/phone holder by the shifter. Or maybe between the power window buttons. But it's ok.
Archoil recommends 3.2 ounces per quart for power steering systems. That might give you a difference that you can feel but the main reason for the stuff is to extend the life of your p/s pump.
