Near the Arizona/Utah border is a place where the highway ends and becomes a narrow dirt road switchback 1200' to the bottom. I took some video with my drone, had to limit my flight due to high wind.

When I was a young intern for a local TV station, I was assigned to cover some guy named Cesar Chavez at a UFW march. I had an old 3-tube camera docked to a Betacam deck, it was very heavy. I remember Cesar being soft spoken and intentional with his words. He is very much a historic figure, and to me - a real person. 😀

2020 was without a doubt the worst season for southern Nevada - likely our driest on record. There was a single opportunity for rain, but it wasn’t enough to go past a trace!
Truly the wildest night of the season last year was on September 1st here in Las Vegas. I feel like the entire town was getting a deluge. My local area was just short of 2 inches of rain in over an hour!
