yeah another death was expected the story is almost perfect and need more lore to cover the massive plot hole yeah , the story definitely need time travel to explain the other wolf i wish they will make dlc to explain the half missing story

This was an amazing playthrough of a beautiful game, one thing struck me at the ending cutscene where the intro cutscene fades out, so rambling fan theory here, and possibly spoilers so viewers don't read before watching ... . . . . . Finished watching? . . . Good... Fan theory time! . The intro cuts off before the final part of the ending scene, which is accepting the death of a loved one, because we haven't grown up with Neva yet, so don't realise how hard it is to let go. The dark creatures all puppet dead creatures rather than allowing them to pass on and be consumed by flowers and plant life, and especially vivid in the fall nightmare, all of the tree like branches are animal or human like limbs. So my theory is that the dark creatures found a way to prolong life unnaturally, and go against creatures dying. One of them found a way, which is why we see statues of the queen like being, being worshipped by the other dark creatures, and seem to have built the structures from living beings, as the more broken building columns actually appear to be the dark creatures themselves. I'm not fully solid on why the dark creatures attack us in the first place other than game mechanics, it could be they are so entrenched in death and reanimating, they have started to hate anything with life itself, or that there was history to Alba, that she was already accepting of death as part of the cycle, and effectively working against them as they grew less with fewer passed on dead things to reanimate and add to their masses. Either way, it's a great way of showing the corruption of striving for immortality through game mechanics, and really not spelling it out, so it could easily have other interpretations put on it as well. Overall amazing game, and amazing playthrough
