One of my favourite songs off one of my favourite records.
Best song off the album. What a great band!
This band came out at a very noisy time in alternative music. There was a lot of stuff that was around this period in 94 like Crash Test Dummies, TriplefastAction, Menthol, Silverchair, That Dog and other bands.... These guys were much better than those acts in my opinion. The next album.... "One Chord To Another" cemented them in the Chicago scene. Radio payed attention after that -- a lot. I knew they were going to stick around for a long time after that. Twice Removed is still very strong.
Agreed that Sloan are... Just so good. Amazing band. Honestly. But Silverchair are one of the best bands ever. Daniel Johns' writing is simply spectacular. So not cool to rope them in with all other noisy 90s bands...as if they weren't great. Go listen to Diorama and then label them under noise. Sorry... Didn't mean to be rude... But just listen first.. before you label all bands into the same group
