Archer gets accustomed to his crate, but it was no easy task. Here are some methods we used during his crate training: 1. Use up puppy's energy; a tired puppy is easier to crate. 2. Self-control; ignore cry-out stage (DEAL WITH IT), attending to them only enables their behavior. 3. Lure them with treats. 4. Cover crate to hide distractions. 5. PATIENCE!

If you own a dachshund you must own a ramp for access to the floor to go on the puppy pad and then access to come back up on the bed to snuggle with you. Dachshunds must have ramps to prevent IVDD it’s an essential part of their lives they shouldn’t put any strain on their spine ❤

Prescious video. Doxies are the best very smart and at times stubborn very clean dogs. My dog simon I rescued when he was a baby maY 16th ge will be 14 yrs old Dogs rule!!!!!!!!

I thought I had accidently turned down sound because I didn't hear anything so I turned up the volume and then the music just suddenly started blaring, scaring the crap out of me. XD

Oh my goodness, his ears are too cute! And his little nose! Archer is adorable, the music is perfect for such an accomplishment!
I have 2 doxies. My gosh i have been bleeding money on the vet bills. y'all just get a rescue dog if you can avoid these breeds that have tons of health issues. They were a gift, I never knew about the breed. Very cute but constantly sick and you always have to keep in mind that if they're diagnosed with a spinal chord issue, you'll have to put them down unless u have 10k for the surgery. Insurance doesn't cover this genetic problem.
