Get a functional height trust me! I had my 1998 Spyder GST to low and kept bottoming out and damaging the transmission pan, had to change fix it at least 4 times and then I went back to stock height and haven't had a problem since. At least I know my transmission oil is good for a while 🤣

Mine literally doing the same. 2 years still trying to figure it out. I've been looking into the crank sensor bc I've changed out everything fiuel and spark related. My issues is weak spark and weak injector spray so that's why I'm thinking the crank sensor. Did you ever figure it out?

These are underrated machines. Pretty easy to work on too. I love mine. It's like a carriage. You can really tell the car loves you.😁💞

Did the car run before you did the FIC fuel rail install and what fuel injectors are you using? Where did the fuel leak come from? In the video you show the fuel rail after it was installed you were trying to start it and noticed the fuel flowing into the cement from under the car.

Aren’t you supposed to run the heat in the car so the coolant and existing coolant in the car mixes and regulates temp?

My car had the same exact symptoms, and I replaced crank sensor, but it didn’t do anything but make it worse it seems like. Could u maybe tell us what u found out the issue was?

That fuel filter was the hardest thing ever to unscrew. Use a marine battery you'll never have trouble with cranking. It sounds like carbon build up hitting the valves from the pistons. Your going to have to pull the head. Remove the valves. Stand them up on a table to check for straightness or spin them on a drill to see if it wobbles. If so. Replace them. And clean your pistons. Block off each hole in the block with paper towel carefully not letting any fall into the block. To clean the head. Follow my videos on how i did it without taking it to a machine shop to have it stripped. Lets keep it real and Not call it resurfacing. 😅 That ish takes away from the block can only be done but so many times. The method i use is tried and true since 1993.

You wanna sell the eclipse

I just did a rebuild on a 97 4g63 sohc 2.4L I'm doing my own research into Balance shaft & Timming Belt tuning using a sound graph app that shows the sound pattern and frequency of the belt when it's plucked or tapped with a long 10mm wrench. The first tuning i believe was a bit low because when I went back to check the tightness after about a few months of the car not being used or ran. It had slack to it. So I retuned it by ear recently and will have to check the frequency response coming off of the belt and make another video on it.

I might buy a 97 mit Eclipse GST for 130k miles for 2,000? Is that worth it?
