Just the video I needed. Good looking truck bro. I’m literally about to buy the same suspension setup but still have questions. I was told performance elites only go up 2in. But you said you’re running a 3in lift. Did you use a spacer?

The BFG A/Ts are a solid bet for the vast majority of people that want a good balance of on road performance & loose terrain grip. Sold my Tacoma for a Chevy Colorado ZR2 a month ago … both trucks are capable. I prefer Good Year Duratracs & just swapped to 35” Mickey Thompson Baja MTs … louder, but grippy compound & lugs. It really depends on personal preference in terms of road noise, wear, stiffness, etc. I’m OK with a louder tire that provides maximum traction across all 4 seasons.
You'd search youtube for "crazy tacoma build". I know everyone has different definition of crazy built. I was thinking supercharger or turbo or portal. Nice tacoma regardless.

Whats your MPG on your truck?
Right now i sit around 12-13 mpg. Still on stock gears.

@@LewdGyrationsthe transmission isn’t what gets changed. It the differential gears that are changed. Also a lot of owners do a tune like the Orange Virus Tune (OVT) or Overland Torque Tune (OTT) the two most popular.
We don’t buy Tacoma’s for good gas milage 😂 I’m currently at 11-12

@@MirageOverland Generally when I think of a "CRAZY" overland build, I immediately think about 35s, icon stage 8/10 suspension, full steel bumpers front and rear, a bowen bed replacement with something like an Alu-cab hard shell camper insert on it. So not hating at all and admire the work you've put into the build, just most of the stuff on here is pretty average which makes it a falsely advertised/clickbait video title that might not attract the kind of attention you want. As far as other things to add to yours, seems like you're on the right path with what you're planning. Personally not a fan of that bed rack you have, I have a Victory half height on mine and I'm able to mount my maxtrax + rotopax + shovel/axe on it no problem. Wired some additional LED strips into the crossbars that hook into the cargo light pigtail behind the taillights as well, that's been a game changer for cooking and doing stuff on the tailgate in the dark. Maybe OTT tune and a diesel heater if you haven't already gone that route? My next mod very soon will be a dual battery setup, I'm sick of having a big Bluetti power station in my cab to run my fridge and heater lol
