I think they’re Jackdaws, they’re in my garden every day along with Magpies and other members of the Corvidae, Rooks, Ravens and Jays.

There's 2 types of people. Scenario A: "Look, a pair of ravens!" "No, those are crows." Scenario B: "Look, a pair of crows!" "No, those are magpies." Since when were magpies grey? I'd at least understand if they somehow mixed up pied crows with magpies, since pied crows have white instead of grey, but magpies have blue sheens on their wings.. but these are hooded crows, which are common in a portion of Eurasia.
