Fantastic video! I bought a hotas to try sim, kinda knew what I was doing (watched A LOT of videos) but could never get my trim right, this helped a lot!
Is there any difference concerning mec between the Corsair 1 and 4 ?
@benewolf7963 It's pretty much the same. In the video, I say radiators at 20%. But run them at 40% - 50%. Corsairs tend to overheat at 20%.
Appreciate all your video tutorials man. Ive just started playing sim recently, and its got quite a learning curve! These short vids help a lot.
Great info, saving this for reference. Think you could do a video on how to get a twin engine back to base with one engine out? With manual controls I do well, but I feel I have more to learn. Thanks

A Bf 109 has many chances against a P-47 in a turning fight. o7
@@leobramrock8933 At high altitudes the tables are turned. The P47 retains much of its engine power and can still maneuver well due to its massive wings and control surfaces in the thinner air at high alts. The 109 is out of its elements so to say, also the 109 pilot clearly was not very skilled - spun out during maneuvers and lost a lot of energy.

Not for sim no. There is no instructor You could bind auto trim but auto trim is so bad I wouldn't recommend

Love these videos, big help (especially for me on ps4). Hopefully one day you'll have one for every aircraft. I do my own tests, but you seem to know more than I find in my tests.

Poor Ichbinlebensmude dude. He did everything wrong in the duel. He should crash the plane as soon as the game started 😁. Personally I was able to kill Ninja once, and because he let me to kill him 😆 PS: I was away for a loong time, sorry for that, but with Fox3's I will be back (If gaijin doesn't find another way to destroy the AIR-SIM dynamics)
It's actually not that bad in some cases. They are making SB improvements slowly
@@ninjato5611 that is true but the main problem is number of players at top tier. As I indicated too many times, Gaijin must either increase the map sizes or decrease total number of players (which they will implement for Air-RB in the new update). Can you imagine 12 F15C's with minimum 6 FOX3s/each?
@doganaybalaban5080 It's really not that bad. Learn to defend the Fox 3's a bit more. Go nose hot, nose cold when needed. And force the merge if necessary. Part of problem is that some players don't use the entirety of the map and clump up in certian areas.

Just so youre aware bud (im the f-14 that kissed that flogger at mach speed) im fairly certain the magnetos in game dont actually affect anything. If im not mistaken they are used for engine starts.
Haven't gone fishing lately? Because you seem like you're fishing a bit here, bud 😂 The F14 that kissed a Flogger. Yeah, that was a funny clip lol Magneto's affect power. For example, when in magneto 1+2, which is where it should be, then switching down to magneto 2. The aircraft will lose some power. By default when switching to MEC control, magneto are at 1+2, so people don't actually have to bind magneto up or down really as it's already at 1+2.
@@ninjato5611 fishing? was not aware of the power difference, i was never able to notice it but i probably didnt mess with it enough
Yeah basically there are 2 magnetos per cylinder for redundancy reasons and to increase efficiency. Some engines also need to use specific magneto settings when starting up irl but that’s probably not really modelled correctly in game. Oh and hey Ninjato, I‘d like to thank you for sharing your MEC guides. Really helped me understand MEC :)

Then you're doing something wrong. Bind the trim buttons, then save it with "trimmers fixation" Don't use auto trim

If it ain't working for you guys on PC aswell, you gotta go to Common > Tracker Controls > Disable "Control zoom with head tracking", this fixed it for me
