Catalytic oxidizers (or catalytic incinerator) are used across a broad range of industrial processes to efficiently destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and other odorous emissions while enabling manufacturers to maintain EPA compliance.

is the guard bed a catalysator it self but for catalyst poisons e.g Pb (heavy metals mainly) or is it a different (here oversimplyfied) mechanism? would appreciate an answer :)
Very cool! If you bleed deferential temperatures off ceramic exchange cycle, you could run a stirling engine with a generator, further reducing power usage in other aeras also. Nice!
