I’m going to move to river island in 2 months

I grew up in lodi and I always wanted to live somewhere else, now in Oklahoma City. I'm thinking about going back for a visit later next year because even though I'm glad to not live there anymore, I kind of feel like I took it for granted and I feel a bit guilty for it.

i love lodi. i visited lodi in early 1992. its lots of agriculture farms and countryside old fashioned homes. its a very sweet old town with a very calm and soothing energy there. i love to visit again. thanks for sharing.

Oh yeah, the old river island, it's funny how corrupt the Lathrop city council was back in the day, you see they wanted this project bad, but at the time Lathrop had a building ban, lathrop said no more houses, yea right, how to go around this, well "THEY" said a big developer name Norman Jarrettl , was purposing a $14 billion theme park called gold rush city, all they needed was land to develop it, man talk about crooked people, they went big, it was going to be built in 4 phases, it included 5,000 hotel rooms 9,000 homes and condominiums, 3 golf courses, shopping centers and business parks, they went as far to say an auto speedway holding 120,000 screaming fans, but wait you also get 20,000 jobs, and all they talk about was how much money it was going to generate to the city, but first they had to vote to over turn the ban, and of course the stupid people in Lathrop all they saw were dollar signs, the people who wanted to keep the ban, were in a hopeless positron, all the idiots were sort of like the 80 million dead, drunk and just plain stupid people who took the hook, line and sinker lies FJB were promising, of course the ban was lifted, and some how the developer said that the people who promise to invest in lathrop's rainbow and unicorns backed out and the gold rush city was officially DOA, WOW imagine that, what to do with all that land, it certainly can go to waste, low and behold all of the sudden all these housing developers were coming out like cockroaches before you turn on the light, wat did the idiots of Lathrop get, they officially became the city with the most stoplights, it use to take a couple of minutes to get from Lathrop road to louise ave, now it seems like it takes 10mins, Pres Truman said "YOU CAN'T GET RICH IN POLITICS UNLESS YOU'RE A CROOK", if you're trying to sell a bridge in Brooklyn, go to Lathrop!
