It's Ringo on lead vocals yet here it's shows as if they're all sing.
The deejay character in the Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" is Kenny Everett. He says something like "ah, forbidden fruit, gimme" when the band hands him an acetate of the as-yet unreleased Bohemian Rhapsody.
this is why john, not macca, is the picasso of music this is beyond music
Tiny Tim was big stuff in the States that spring after his "Laugh-In" and "Tonight Show" TV appearances. I wonder if he ever was aware of just how aware the Beatles were of him at this point. Despite the kitsch of "Tiptoe Thru The Tulips," Paul is correct here (I think it's Paul speaking) in saying that Tiny Tim was actually a very good singer of the old vaudeville style Paul was so partial too.
Tiny Tim appears on George's portion of the Beatles' 1968 Christmas record.
is this pitched up a bit?
How are you here?
Surprisingly - no comments - sounds like this was recorded yesterday - excellent quality ! !
Paul McCartney taking it to another level….amazing.
THIS IS NOT THE BEATLES
What a memorable night! I was lucky enough to be there and at the concert in 1965 as well. Memories I'll never forget.
Sounds like it came straight from the console - great quality considering the times! Well done someone! Prime candidate for de-mix tech?
Love is blindness
😮
Why wasn't this included on the Hollywood Bowl set? Cleaned up with modern technology this version would have been great !!!!!!!
The end for me
Que momento , ese instante en que esta naciendo una obra épica testimonio de toda una generación y demás, en su momento embrionario , 🎉🎉
Were these Beatles Shea tracks taken from the raw in-line recordings or are they the Ron Furmanek mixes from the early 90’s? They sound real good.
Regular club amps at Shea. Couldn't hear them over the screaming. That's why they were laughing.
I don't think that's the reason. I think because Paul was so into it.
Te amo The Beatles y personas que subió este maravilloso audio ✨♥️
Standing in the middle of a baseball stadium, 50,000+ people non stop screaming, no ear pieces, can’t hear a god damn thing on that stage and the harmony is STILL STUDIO TIGHT!!

L'anima di John....❤... disarmante
You saw the sign at the 1966 Shea Stadium concert.
more cowbell. ;)
John and Paul wrote “I want to hold your hand” in the basement of Jane Asher’s house. He is totally iying here, I think its so funny.
BEAUTIFUL HISTORY !
This really looks like someone went back and recorded them with a modern camera but put an old filter over it
We need them to do it in F Major
Excelente este audio donde se puede escuchar solamente a John
Complete waste of everyone’s time.
Obrigado amigo!
He misses his mother
I get a sense that Paul was probably pretty happy when they dropped "If I Fell" from their setlist after this tour - so tough hitting those few ultra high notes, and Paul was no slouch in hitting high notes, but this song was real work for him - just witness the actual studio version! These guys truly were the best
I don't get it.
Beautiful. I'm sad for his loss and ours.
why didn’t they use this take
:D
3:36 “Faul”
Great song
THIS is the John I love to remember.
I was only 4 y.o. when the two older sisters of my buddy next door went to go see this concert. For the next few weeks they were singing & dancing to every Beatles song night & day. My life was never the same because of it.
They knew the vocals weren't 100% but I think it grooves and rocks nicely. A tough song to pull off live.
I sneaked into this Vancouver concert and got to front row centre. When The Fabs came on it was like an explosion - 20 thousand insane people jumped out of their seats and moved towards the stage like a single animal. The deafening sound of the crowd was like ten F-16's taking off at the same time. Beatles roadie Mal Evans said, there was only 2 times the Beatles were ever worried about their lives and aid this concert was one of them. I saw Hendrix, Cream, Led Zep, the Stones, The Doors - but none of those concerts came close to the huge energy of this concert. .
Before the days of proper sound systems, monitors on stage, the mic-ing of drums-the very reason you can't hear them-, or proper mixing boards for live shows. Major concerts were a joke back then, hence the distortion. Apparently, according to an older acquaintence of mine who was there at the concert, you could hear them in the first 5 rows or so. Anywhere else in the stadium, good luck. It wasn't until the tail end of the 60's, rock shows were taken seriously enough to present them properly.
According to Tom Lodge's book, The Ship that Rocked the World, he didn't have any time to prepare and he only needed excepts for the "Sound of the Stars" One thing I noticed is that the doctor's coats used in the photo shoot are underneath his jackets.
I want the one with the video back
Stoned 😍🙌👌👏😳😎😂🎵💯🤘😎😲🙂😄😀
Great... but tired performance.
That guitar strum intro in this live rendition is kinda garagy/psych kewl
So often, John plays with interviewers making sarcastic or goofy remarks, and Paul grounds the interview. It’s the opposite here! Paul is loosy goosy (one comment says he was stoned). John, who sometimes can't get a wird in, sounds serious and grounded. Hadn't heard this interview. Thanks for sharing it.
