Game of Active Directory - Enumerating with enum4linux
Просмотров 142Месяц назад
Today, in the latest video from the Game of Active Directory lab series, we pick up where we left off with Null sessions-this time using enum4linux. We discovered credentials for the account samwell.tarly and used it to further enumerate the environment. Interestingly, we found that, in rare cases, an authenticated account can have fewer privileges than a Null session, as demonstrated by the WI...

    hi there, did you use the ubuntu to attack the machines or you install kali

    • @1ake
      @1ake 5 месяцев назад

      It doesn't really matter either way. You can use both Kali or Ubuntu in it of itself. But be mindful, on Ubuntu you'll want to install many of the packages, while on Kali you are probably going to have most of them preinstalled.

      @@Baconc2 Generally, running any of the labs in a VM is going to be troublesome. It's easier to run them on bare metal, like on any spare SSD and go from there. Wish you the best in your GOAD-light lab!

    In Virtualbox make sure settings->system->processors->Enable Nested VT-X/AMD-V is ticked and in BIOS have "Intel virtualization" or equivalent enabled. To Check $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpu-checker $ kvm-ok You should see something similar to "INFO: /dev/kvm exists KVM acceleration can be used"

      It can be done, but it was a pain in the balls when it came time to provision. Also make sure to use Vagrant 2.2.18 or you may encounter errors. This goes for everyone. I ended up just installing Ubuntu LTS on an old pc and installing ansible on that machine. Docker gave me too many issues.

    • @qdada2439

      It was the host machine. I initially tried nesting in inside VMware, it did not work so well as the lab required a lot more resources.

    Hi all Would like to ask why am I getting this error. After running vagrant up. Did I miss something in the config but I'am sure that everything are already installed. A Vagrant environment or target machine is required to run this command. Run `vagrant init` to create a new Vagrant environment. Or, get an ID of a target machine from `vagrant global-status` to run this command on. A final option is to change to a directory with a Vagrantfile and to try again.

    • @liangwill122

      I think we need to find the "Vagrantfile" (at directory ad/GOAD/providers/virtualbox/)

      I believe the Ubuntu VM is the machine with the 24 GB of RAM .. This is also stated in the original Git repo of the project that the host should have at least 32 GB of RAM cause the underlaying Ubuntu VM would use up to 27 GB of RAM (I guess 24 should also be enough).
