I had an ARC CD8 tube cd player a couple of yrs ago. That's been the best cd player i've ever used/owned. I have a video of it in my channel. Incredible soundstage. Dynamic with great midrange and imaging. I regret selling it now. If you can find one at a good price jump on it. Highly recommended.

I agree with the construction of the speakers. They are solidly built plus the finish on them screams quality craftmanship. I haven't done any research on the drivers.

@@mahabassily3506 plugging the positive banana plug in the upper binding post goes directly to the positive speaker connection thereby eliminating two extra contacts, which would be degrading the quality of the signal and hence the sound.

I would recommend to plug the positive red banana plug into the upper positive finding post

@@audiogabby9808 I love the hobby , im more of a theater guy that goes to 2 channel and does it well , i have a streamer a dac and all that , I only have 1 room in the house for that so it has to do everything HT/ 2chan. I have allot of acoustic treatment its a better upgrade than any cable or piece of equipment i ever did .i did sound deadening curtains looks nice and does the trick knocks down the echos . I just did a plush carpet xtra heavy , its amazing what those things can do its night and day , also have you ever noticed why your system sounds better at 2am than 8pm , Dirty Power and vibrations get into your system its a fact , cars trucks in the street send vibrations that get into your speaker , think of your speaker as a still pond and a fly touches the surface it sends a ripple thats whats going on and your playing thru that . 3am try it out let me know

The CD60 is the best CD player in the $1,000 dollar range (+/-). This is my second one after trying a few others. It is fast with good separation and also very extended. You'll love the timbre of instruments too.

I've not heard the 60xt but i can tell you this, the SL RG4 mk 3 are exceptional. Truly high end ampliers that will leave you impressed once you listen to them.

@@audiogabby9808 Well the songtowers sound like i would gain clarity and hopefully better soundstage.

No external DAC. Direct from Marantz cd60 to La Musica then to the RG4.

@@antoniotrevi4858 I think the Marantz. The Rotel didn't have the bass control of the cd60.

I kept the CD60 after trying both of them. More extended and controlled bass.

Hey, i saw the add in Audiomart. Those were my speakers, i recognized them. Very good speakers but they prefer low powered tubes to sound their best. At the asking price you cannot go wrong. Recommended.

@@audiogabby9808 Thanks. I haven’t recorded a video in so long I forgot what I even had posted. I have 13 pairs of Salk speakers that I rotate between systems. I should post more but with Salk closed I didn’t see a need anymore.

They are great speakers, from the sound to the fit and finish. Extremely heavy too. Very defined soundstage, imaging and speed comes to mind. They need good electronic to pair them with to get the most out of them.

The amp is very quiet. What you hear is probably room reverb as the walls are bare.

I got mine yesterday and there seems to be a lot of noise coming from the tubes. Like a tea pot boiling sound and from speakers too

@@FreshFish99 Could be bad tubes. I just turned mine on to check. My speakers are 95db and all i hear is an incredibly low/faint hum with my ear to the mid range. I wouldn't even call it a hum. Check the cables are tight too.
