Holy shit I can't stand people who judge someone else. First off, dying doing what you love is one of the best ways to die. There are DRASTICALLY worse ways to go. This has to be something that no one can understand unless you do it. I've only been skydiving but I've been 7 times and there is nothing I've ever done that compares and I've done some crazy shit. We are ALL going to die. How someone who just grinds their life away doing some 9-5 that they hate and work their life away just HOPING they even make it to retirement let alone get to live long enough to enjoy it sounds WAY worse to me than dying from this especially after doing it hundreds of times. These guys may die earlier in life, but they live more in their one short life than most EVER could in 10 lifetimes. I get so sick of people bitching about someone losing their life when it isn't their life to complain about. How can other people try and put others who are free in a box just because they want to spend their lives in a box?? Just because most people aren't free doesn't mean EVERYONE wants to live that way. I think grinding your life away working for 45 to 50 years sounds fucking TERRIBLE. I wish I could do this with my life. I have dreamt of something like this since I was a kid. Granted I'm not married and I don't have kids, but she didn't have to marry him, nor did she have to stay with him. I feel bad for her, even if it doesn't sound like it, I do. This is for the people who want to judge others. I think it's crazy to want to sign up for the military and risk your life fighting some super rich people's war all while you make minimal money and are pretty much forgotten by those who sent you, but I don't knock those who do it. Everyone makes it out like this guy is the only one who had a choice. She COULD have walked away and married someone who doesn't jump off mountains, let's not act like she didn't. She CHOSE to stay. How would anyone else prefer to die? A heart attack from working your life away? Get cancer and die a long slow terrible death? Just skydiving alone is something you cannot explain to anyone who hasn't done it, the freedom you feel moving at 130+ mph with no vehicle is incredible but to literally come about as close as you can to flying and seeing the amazing scenery along the way has to be indescribable. If someone came to me and sponsored me to do shit like this, I'd pack my shit IMMEDIATELY and go with them. I get so sick of people who aren't free just shit talking those who are. Why is everyone so afraid of death anyways? Better get used to the idea because you'll be joining him one of these days anyways. Why not actually LIVE while you're alive?? I'm not saying others should do this if it's not your thing, but I'm sure once you do something like that, EVERYTHING else has to be a dreadful fucking bore. I just don't get why everyone else feels this insatiable need to tell others how to live their lives and then sit around watching videos of shit they hate just so they can all be followers and gang up on a guy who isn't around to defend himself and talk all kinds of shit like their life is any fuckin better. I would love to see the lives of every person who talked shit on here and see how their life is so much better than this guy's. Let me guess, their still alive so it has to be better. How?? If someone's life is boring and average, I can't see the beauty or value in that over this guy's life. I don't understand why people watch videos of shit they don't like anyhow, let alone just to talk shit in the comments. I stumbled upon this after watching about 10 wingsuit flight videos wishing I could do the same. When I see videos of something I don't like, I not only don't watch it, I click not interested in the options so I don't have more suggestions like it pop up. People make me fuckin sick. "Hey, I live a boring ass life and I'm terrified to do amazing shit so you should be too!" How fuckin disgusting. Not everyone is afraid of dying folks. None of us will get out of here alive anyhow.
