I have 5 hours on the game so far, it's pretty fun. It's hard to get the hang of, the default controls were horrible so for the first two hours I had to experiment with what controls works the best. I was skeptical on how controlling the dirtbike was going to work since riding a dirtbike irl requires moving your whole body, but I think they got as close as possible with a controller. Plasma Flight Controller Module Tutorial
you should build like a bigger bike out of like a 450 frame! you could do a qs138 90h and a fardriver with a amorge battery and you could be doing 90 mph+ while having all the suspension and brakes a 450 has, theres one near me for sale and i might buy it.
@@waqas-xs5bn You read my mind, I’ve been looking for a 250/450 roller to buy. The problem is most of the modern bikes have an aluminum frame so I would probably need an aluminum tig welder to fab all the parts, and a decent tig setup is easily over a grand. I could maybe just bolt everything but that could loosen over time and that would be bad. I would definitely build the battery, I have all the materials and skills to build better batteries than amorge for cheaper.
@@Calthecool even a old yz125 pr any 125 2 stroke frame works! they are all the same size so it would work to, qs motors with the 138 90h motor can handle about 45kw peak max, and the 450 coverted one is running about 45.6kw peak or 61hp, it would be sick if you do build one! if you do, when you build one, try to make the battery discharge as much amps as possible, the one near me is running a 76v battery 600amp peak and 400 continuos, its from amorge, and the dude selling it wanted to buy one that they made that did 650 continous and 800 peak.
@@waqas-xs5bn Yeah I'll definitely keep an eye out for those, I would prefer a 250 four stroke/125 two stroke size frame because I like smaller bikes and I would probably only do around 20-25kw because I don't have much experience with powerful dirt bikes and I think that would be plenty for me. My limiting factor right now is the BMS, the most powerful one that I trust right now is 100a continuous 200a 10 sec burst. Everyone online loves to throw around BMS manufacture names when you ask what's good but nobody wants to actually link any listings, and I would like to avoid buying 0 review BMS's off alibaba and gambling with my money.

why dont you just buy 18650 batterys?? its the same
@@toki3868 when I bought that Tesla battery pack I didn’t know how much of a discount you can get by buying battery cells in bulk, so it seemed like a good idea at the time. If I were to build a battery like that again I would definitely just buy the cells. Also I would probably use 21700 cells.

wonderful build man I do love customizing my own bikes too! hope i learn how to make batteries one day (kinda scared to make a battery explode on me)
@@mviivs as long as you get a good BMS the battery isn’t likely to explode, the worst you can do when building it is short out a balance wire, and that’s not a big deal.

@@Calthecool at the start the bike has like 15 Amps😭😭 my ebike has 18A 48V and that's still slower😭😭
I definitely feel like that battery needs a little bit more of a housing but hey not bad for something to do some stunts on
@@floppydisk4500 if you felt it you could tell that it’s holding it well enough, if I do build another one I’ll probably make a sheet metal cover that completely surrounds the frame and battery but I didn’t want to do that on this one because it would be hard to remove the battery.
Sounds like exactly what it wants. I'm really impressed by your build overall. I'm trying to do something similar with my e-bike right now. But I'm going to be upgrading to instead of a hub motor I'm going to use a cyc mid drive

not two times, not three times, but 10 times the legal wattage of an ebike. awesome

Ebikes are always better with a transmission :)
Have you ever thought of building a hybrid bike
@@matthewnorman9803 yes, but I’ve built three motorized bikes in the past and the engines just aren’t that high quality and having to mix the gas and bump start them is annoying. I do think that if I could find a good frame and I could somehow have the hub motor in the rear wheel and have the chain drive from the engine it would be a interesting build but it would take a while and I don’t really want to mess with all that right now.

Another idea would be a transmission, like a bicycle transmission, if you wanna beat any surron out there.
@@J1414R these big hub motors can take so much power and the controllers are efficient enough that it’s really better to just increase the power instead of adding gears. Plus the hub motor design is so simple that having gears would just complicate things. If I wanted to beat any surron in a drag race I could just build a 40kW monster with a bigger hub motor, but that would be ridiculous.
@@Calthecool hey, bro it’s just a a suggestion, a really good one, they could’ve added more power to cars to go faster but instead they gave them a transmission. Sometimes a single gear isn’t always the way to go, and shifting gears is fun too.
