      Hi! As I’ve mentioned in the video, we can only scrape up to 3000-4000 comments. If the post has much more than that, this code will not be able to scrape them all 🥹 But regardless if it’s that much, the code should be able to return a portion. If the post has comments, the code should be able to scrape them. May I see the post you are testing?

    How to solve f(x) using differential equations method? I lost it in the deductive reasoning part 😅

    • @RobolsMath
      @RobolsMath Месяц назад

      Write it as y' + (-2x/(x^2+1)) y = (-x^2+1)/(x^2+1) which is a first order linear differential equation (FOLDE). Then you can proceed using standard FOLDE methods. See discussion here: tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/DE/Linear.aspx I think it's gonna be a longer process though.

    g(x)^2 = x^2 implies g(x) = x is a choice of g(x) xf' - f = xe^x - e^x So as f' = f then f = e^x So a solution to the integral is g(x) = e^x + C where C is the arbitrary constant of integration. I suppose that begs the question, is there something clever which uses the product rule on f(1/g)?

    • @RobolsMath
      @RobolsMath 2 месяца назад

      I'll try to explore that perspective, but I think that it's a harder path to take because there are plenty other forms that are not as easy to express in the form f'/g - f/g^2.

    Let s=y+z-x. The given condition implies that s is nonzero. (x-y)/z = (z-s)/z = 1 - s/z (y+z)/x = (x+s)/x = 1 + s/x (z-x)/y = (s-y)/y = s/y - 1 (1-s/z) + (1+s/x) + (s/y-1) = 1 s/z = s/x + s/y Since s is nonzero, then 1/z = 1/x + 1/y Consequently, z = xy/(x+y).

    Just simplify this 1/(2+a) + 1/(2+b) + 1/(2+c) and then plug in the value of abc = 4(4+a+b+c) and further simplify giving us 1/2 as the final answer.

    At 4:01, it is clear that 2m=1+x-1/x = 1+m^2 > (m-1)^2 = 0 > m =1 > x-1/x = 1 > x^2-x-1=0. Also, since the RHS of the original equation is positive, x is positive. Thus, x = 1/2[sqrt(5) + 1].

    • @RobolsMath
      @RobolsMath 4 месяца назад

      Good question. We can’t have a positive and negative scenario at the same time because that won’t fit the given equations. For example, if a+1 is positive and b+1 is negative, then their product would be negative. However, we know from the first part that their product should be positive.

      For 2024 Math Wiz, the audience was allowed to take pics of the questions. Di ko sure tho kung sino ang may complete compilation nung questions if meron man. I only have pics of the questions I like and I will be posting them from time to time

    I got stuck in this question because I only knew the max value of the expression. I forgot what the equality case was. pain

      I understand. For different inequalities, the conditions for equality vary. That’s the advantage of the second method- the approach is the same regardless :)
