Install/Setup your Trem the RIGHT WAY
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.9 месяцев назад
Installing and setting up a 6 point tremolo, such as those found on many Fender Stratocasters can be challenging, this video explains how to do this and maximize playability and versatility. Setting the tremolo system up in this way allows you to get full use out of your floating bridge, I've seen so many strats with bridges flat on the body. When setting the guitar up, make sure to adjust the ...

Novation Launchpad Mini Mk3 - Review, Unboxing, Tutorial, Demo 2022
Просмотров 32 тыс.2 года назад
The Novation Launchpad Mini Mk3 is a great compact MIDI controller and is even better for Ableton users. It lacks in terms of velocity sensitivity and some of the navigation controls can take some getting used to but overall I would recommend it. It would really help if you would subscribe, like and leave a comment. Stay Tuned! Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:10 Unboxing 0:54 Build Quality 1:22 Dimensio...
I’ve had 2 tc pedal foot switches fail just after warranty.
Is it useful for keyboard assign as control the registration
Cool, but can you play War Pigs on that thing?
Thank you for your clear explanation. I try to use the FCB with MainStage, but as I don't have the Midi cable, I try through bluetooth (with bluetooth adaptor on FCB). MainStage recognize it, it's shown on the midi entry, but nothing happen when I press the pedalboard. Do you know if it works through bluetooth ? Did you ever try ? Thanks
Still have the HOF 1. Such a great pedal
I have one. Ok for clean guitar, absolutely sucks on every setting on crunch channel. Sounds muddled and messy. Absolutely hate this pedal. Sounds like crap in live setting. Doesn’t sound natural. Just a digital mess. Tone prints are pretty gimmicky. Kind of like the 80’s Rambo knife every kid wanted. Software to computer doesn’t work half the time. Only phone app works. The old spring reverb on your amp sounds 100 times better than this thing. I like a hint of reverb and not into fiddling about to get a half decent sound between clean and crunch. If you’re confined to playing in your living room, cool to play with. Live setting I always turn it off because it is terrible.
Put it through an FX loop
Thanks, now I can actually make use of cc messages. I didn't get the bit that you need to program both ctl1 and ctl2 for this, thanks
can you move, duplicate and delete clips in the session view with this? does not seem to have buttons for those functions. it would be rather unbelievable, if that is not possible, but it seems to me that is exactly the case... i would like to use it alongside my push 2 to arrange the session view and launch clips while my push is used for instruments.
Concise and easy to understand. Amazing video!
Okay, so I can follow the procedure well enough. But I am wondering if this device will do what I need it to do. I am told that it will connect to a Boss Katana Mk2, which is what I have. The GA-FC footswitch for the Katana will allow you to turn on and off your various effects groups; Boost, Mod, FX, Delay, etc. But I cannot use it to turn on and off individual effects. If my Mod group is set to the chorus, I can turn that one and off. But I can't switch it to anything else in that group such as a phaser or flanger. Can this be done with the FCB1010? i.e. can one button be programmed to turn the chorus on and off, another to turn the phaser on and off, another to turn the wah expression pedal on and off, and another to turn one of the delays on and off? The problem with the GA-FC footswitch is that the mod effects button can only do the Mod effects group. I can't program another button to do the same group but a different effect. Can I do that with the FCB1010?
Great tutorial! I did everything like you showed but have a problem, for example: I've mapped first button to change my amp (clean/dirty) and second to turn on and off the delay pedal. When I turn on the delay and I want to switch my amp I have to double tap the first button to do that. Then when I want to turn off the delay, I again have to double tap the second button. Of course I want it to do that on the first tap. Can you pleaaase help me with this my savior?
Edit: I found guys discussing this on a forum and shared a link for solution but the link is no longer working :( they are talking about "change the type to alternating value and change the cc# value to a single value" but I don't understand :/
This is the best explanation of this on the internet. Thanks so much
Thanks!
@@staytuned3068 I wholeheartedly agree, much thanks!!!! Subscribed too!
Be nice if you could see it.
Great video. Thank you
Thanks!
Nice video, man! Very solid pacing & talking-playing balance. I’ve been playing guitar since the 80s and I agree that this is probably the very best reverb in its price range. I use a couple of ambient reverb pedals (by Strymon & Eventide) but I always have this one on my board for when I want just regular plate, spring, and hall/room verbs. Always handy for that! This is a very underrated pedal, to me. Thanks! 🎸👍y
Thank you! Yeah I’m happy with the pedal, if you can find a good deal second hand it’s killer
I'm so happy channels like this excist ! tysm for your time and effort <3
Thank you so much!
Great demo mate!! And fantastic playing too. Thanks heaps
Thanks I appreciate it!
Pretty sure the good folks at Behringer are responsible for the tax code😂😂😂😂
I would love more pedal reviews! This was a great video and the demo section was exactly what I want from these kinds of vids. Very keen to see more
Thanks I appreciate it, definitely more pedal videos to come.
thanks for this! i ordered one to upgrade from my mini mk2.
@@SirensOfNC no worries!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Good demo, thanks. Liked and subscribed. I just spotted one of these in mint condition for $40. Probably a crime not to buy it at that price. Delay is not really my thing but it is useful in a lot of situations. Maybe a $40 used pedal is just what I need after getting rid of my strymon dig and Boss dm-2w. Thanks again for the demo and good luck with the channel. Play on 🎶🤘🏻🎸
Thanks I really appreciate it! $40 bucks is great! I’m with you, I don’t use a lot of delay which is why I didn’t want to spend too much on the pedal. Thanks for the support!
if i buy but my laptop is not working right now so, what should i do then please let me know ? and it can't start with any connection ??

How can bank change be achieved?
Cannot change from rythem to lead
Would it be possible to use the unit as a midi bass pedal, instead of a real one.
Hi yeah definitely as long as you have midi bass software
Just by one
My friend I am doing something wrong, can you help me by answerign my question? Why you assigned pedal01 to CC01? Because you want to trigger the command CC1 on a device or a software with pressing the first footpedal? So if I want to trigger the commad labeled CC26 with the first pedal I will press it and programm it by typing n 26 instead of 01? And then programm the values 00 to 127 on 6 and 7 accordingly?
incredible video. thank you!
Thanks!
Great song!
original version is better than the second version. same for the flashback delay.
why???
I ran into your lesson because I want to control Line-6 POD HD500X. It needs to select 8 main groups by PC or manual. Each group has 16 basic presets that are arranged in 4 groups 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D then 2A, 2B...all the way to 16C and 16D. Having a group that contains 4 sounds is very practical for each song or style. It has a pair of Up & Down switches also (1-16). The HD500X pedal has a Big Letter View window that show the activated preset. But if there is modification (by PC Editor program or manual buttons) the stupid View window will not return to Big Letter unless I bend down or kneel on the floor to press View twice. It is hard with the guitar on my neck. Also for setting the pedal, it is better to put on a tall rack or desk and adjust while sitting and playing guitar on a chair. Doing so I can't lift my foot or use finger to press the switches. I used FCB-1010 before with my Yamaha DG-80 Amp with out problems because the preset increased consecutively from 00 to 80 (I don't remember). I tried with Line-6 POD HD500X today and was able to activate about 20 presets. But I noticed that many sounds did not came out right. Some configurations changed and later the PC crashed. Please help. Thanks, PS: Please also show the initial conection to PC. Using Midi cable?
Don't scoff at the Hall of Fame pedal because of it's price. Mike Dawes uses one and he has had his RUclips channel and played solo including as opener for Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues and played guitar with him as part of his touring group. Mike may have upgraded his reverb I think he found one just a little better overall but the side by side comparison with the Hall of Fame was very good showing the TC pedal to be very good. I think Mike is going with a Nuenber Immerse $250 which is $100 more and is just a little better. As seen on RUclips Anderton's rig under $1000 with Mike comparing the TC with the Immerse so you can watch that and see just how good the Hall of Fame is. Just proves even professional musicians use TC Electronics
I'm still not getting it. you're assigning CC values, but no CC number ? and whats 6 for?
I had one of these and had some success programming it, but overall, it couldn't access a lot of my gear's features I wanted it for even though it was for the Behringer Virtualizer Pro 2024. *Fortunately, I don't really use modulation and time-based depth effects, and the new breed of floor processors often have midi controllers built into them.* I'm sure if I were running plugins on a PC with it, then it would be a beast of a unit. *There are, however, custom EPROMS you can buy for it that are specific to guitar gear, rack processors etc.* The guy I sold it to installed EPROMS programmed specifically for the Behringer Bass V-Amp, so you dropped it in, plugged it in and everything was custom tailored. Programming it for my gear hit a lot of dead ends, but I did get a fair bit of control out of it, just far from what anyone would expect.
Thanks for making this video. I've been working through their manual and i still found assigning the pedals confusing. There was still one small thing i didnt understand in order to assign CC #s for the pedals.
Great demo! I have a request. Can someone who has this pedal please try using it with a microphone and see what kind of reverb vocal effects you can get from it. I'm looking for an inexpensive means of creating different venue type effects. Thanks!
Question because i'm a little lazy to watch the entire video. Are the buttons easy to press? I bought an akai piano and whilst it is good the keys require more effort in pressing than i'd like.
He said they are fine, nothing special. Lots of travel distance
thanks for the video.. helped so much in setting my expression pedals to work with ableton. Great work
No worries at all glad to help
Can u store presets. So if u are doing rhythm. Can u need a different sound for lead. U cannot bend down and change all the time
You can only store presets in each of the 3 slots and you have to bend down to switch between them.
Hello ! This works with protools ?
Can you assign different values to CC other that on/off (127/0). Like #CC 42, value 5?
I would literally pay for someone to give the same instructions for controlling Helix Native in Logic Pro 😢
Behringer really struggled to take the angle of the user when they wrote the manual... I love that you focused on CC number programming as 98% of the folks that would use this are going to use it exactly as such. Good on you for taking the time to make this!
That's so true about the manual, thanks!
Well, you sold me lol. I had a Bigsky and got rid of it ages ago and I need a quick replacement, this looks easy to use and perfect. Cheers
Enfin!!! exactement ce que je recherchai Merci beaucoup
Happy I could help!
Really enjoyed your video .. and the comments from viewers. I thought I was losing the plot as I struggled to do even basic edits. This helps A LOT! Thank you.
Thank YOU!
could this stupid pedalboard possibly be any more complicated? (and yes, you're awesome, man, thank you so much)
Haha no worries, yeah it’s ridiculous!
