What a gorgeous place! I understand the idea of speaking a language and getting people used to hearing it without a translation but I'll admit I'm not far enough along on this linguistic journey to really gain a better understanding of what's happening. Halò, I just wanted to say I am finding the same thing, the word order is quite confusing and it's giving me some headaches too! As suggested though the Learn Gaelic and Speak Gaelic websites are great resources, and have been using them as I begin to learn myself. I am fortunate to have found a small language group where I live. I know Gaelic is still quite popular in Canada, depending where you live you might be able to find a group you can join online, if not in person! I'm enjoying these videos a lot, for the scenery and the language, it's helpful having the visual context to help with comprehension... Though I am still only picking out a few words from each line😅 I hope you enjoy your learning journey if you decide too! Be prepared for many 'this makes no sense moments', but I am told it eventually makes sense 😂

Feasgar Math a Ghòrdain. Chòrd an video rium agus abair deagh bheachd a bhith a' cleachdadh na Gàidhlig agad ann an video. Feumaidh mi an aon rud a dhèanamh. Thuirt thu gum biodh ceartachaidhean ceart gu leòr. Mar sin, tha " 's ann à .... a tha mi" a' ciallachadh "I am from" m.e. 'S e Gòrdan a th' orm, 's ann à Srath Eadhair a tha mi. Cùm Gàidhlig beò a charaid !!

Madainn mhath Nicky, O mòran taing! Tha mi cho duilich, 'S e amadan a th' annam! 😂 Mar sin " 'S e Gòrdan an t-ainm th' orm" no "Is mise Gòrdan" ach "S ann à 'ainmean-àite' a tha mi", a bheil sin ceart gu leòr? Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil mi a' tuigsinn. Tapadh leat a charaid! Gòrdan.
