Nice walk thru video. Gotta do a walk thru of the cruiser……… lol Nar the patrol
Haha thanks mate, the cruiser is in its box 🤣🤣 I’ll have to do another one in the patrol one day
love the video guys ! love the fact you camp like most of us !
@@9008710 thanks heaps. We appreciate the feedback but that’s what we love👍
That pond was magnificent, wetsuits because it's cold?
It is very cold, first time we were there we only had shorts and shirts, that was a wake-up call 😜
Thank you for your information 🙏
Another great video guys! Where are you getting the songs/tunes for your videos? Are you buying them from somewhere?
Hi, we use epidemic sounds for our music, it is a paid platform for non copyright music.
Great video guys
Cheers mate👍
Hey guys can I pls ask what month you were there. Enjoyed the episode.
Hi we were there in January just after new year
Great review, just found this. What tools have you found useful for maintenance on the van? Anything in particular?
Hi, thanks for watching. I have a battery drill for the legs but don’t use a hammer type drill as it can destroy the threads in the legs and we also carry a small battery blower for blowing sand and dirt from inside the van or off the mat outside and is particularly handy for helping start a camp fire. Other than that I just use the tools in carry in the patrol for any maintanance issues
Some people are silly bliss
Yeah gotta be careful of the others who get about
Another banging video
Haha she does indeed 👍
Gotta love a nanna nap
Good content guys
Cheers mate
Thanks for sharing another great video, you guys are producing some really good footage.
Thankyou so much, we appreciate you watching and your support. We love hearing the great feedback👍
👍👍👁️👁️😎😇❤️🙏
Thanks for sharing another great video. Your little van seems to go really well off road and the old Patrol is ever reliable. I see in the past you've done a number of van reviews, we love these, so how's your little van comparing with many of the other vans. The camera did'nt show the meteor shower.
Hi, thanks for watching, our van and patrol are super reliable and comparing to other hybrids I think it’s holding its own very well and hasn’t had much in the way of major problems. yeah the camera wasn’t quite good enough to pick the meteorites up 😔
Thanks for your honest review. Sounds like a tough unit. We may be in the market for one in the future. We have just subscribed and enjoy your down to earth style. Looking forward to seeing your past videos and current travel. Lloyd & Gayle in Tea Tree Gully SA.
Hi, we try to keep things simple and real life as much as possible. It really has been a great van for us and has taken everything we’ve thrown at it in its stride. Thank you for subscribing, we really appreciate your support 👍 from the Crew
Good on ya guys it looks like a lot of fun and sweet memories
Cheers Tom, was really fun 👍
I’ve got one in my 1990 Pajero . They are brilliant.
That’s good, I do t hear bad things about them
Lots of people following and well worth a thumbs up. Come on you buggers give these guys a thumbs up. Tell old mate Rob said you can have flowers in the van, it's almost a necessity.
Haha indeed
Cheers for the review. Been considering either the Austrack or Jawa. But the Austrack seems to tick more boxs for us and the price tag is $8k less than the Jawa. Either way I think either van would be great. Great review and will check out some content. 🤙
We never looked at the Jawa but I have seen pics and reviews and seems like a great van. Can’t go wrong either way I reckon but the austrack does offer more for less coin. Good luck with it and thanks heaps for watching👍
You should have called into Venus Bay. Its beautiful there.
We called into Venus Bay quickly on our way west but weren’t there long but what we seen was very pretty 👍
Have you had any trouble with rain coming in through the roof when it was “up”.
We get a little leak around the skylight under heavy rain but that is usually when dead level. Water doesn’t escape the roof well. Other than that is has been great
Hi, where did you buy the back seat organisers from?
Hi, we got the organisers from Navigator
hi,OMC, can you tell me witch anti flap kit to suits my 2021 austrack Tanami x13? Halley anti flap kit or Halley Narrow anti flap kit. thank you so much.
Hi, I can’t answer that question sorry but if it helps we have the grasshopper anti flap kit from sunbuster which works a treat. Austrack also do there own line of kits now to suit there vans, they might be worth a call. Hope this helps. Cheers
Good job guys. I have a 2022 15B and hasn't had any issues after 18 months of use. Still got the original AGMs
Thankyou, they are great vans and I’m glad your having trouble free travels with yours👍 Travel Safe
Thanks for sharing.
hi ol Mac Crew , how much for sun buster anti flap kit and where i can buy it for my x13? thank you!
Hi. When we bought our anti flap kit it was $300 plus shipping and we got it from Sunbuster Shades in Narangba, QLD.
Thanks for letting me know
I am going to tow the Austrack X15 into the Camping Area, any tips?
Hi, yes take your time and be on the look out for oncoming traffic and you will be fine👍
😬 'Promo SM'
What was that tap at the front hinge of the trailer use for?
Ill get back to you. I’ll find out for sure for you
The tap at the front is for fresh water for washing hands or filling buckets without having to go inside the van. Hope that helps. 👍
@@olmaccrew2458 Thanks for the information.
Good to hear you put it to its full use.
why go to Law school when you can become a hooker
Good ol' Kal - worked there once doing exploration drilling. It's like a scene from a mad max movie that place
Haha yeah I enjoyed Kalgoorlie, she is a back in the day joint.
For an over cast day the wave rock still look amazing the colours looked rich, do you have two action cameras
It really did look awesome, did catch a glimpse of it in the sun which was amazing but didn’t capture footage. We do have 2 Cameras but usually just use 1 at a time
What software you guys using to edit your vids? And where you get the music from? Love it
Hi, thanks heaps. I use Capcut on pc (laptop) and get music from Epidemic Sound. Thanks for watching. Means a lot to us👍
@@olmaccrew2458 legends, thanks for the reply, keep up the great work!

Not one to be left out . Just vanning it did the same thing with his drone.👍

Yeah no worries, we just came through Tumut on Sunday, we go a fair bit, can catch up when we go next if you like
@@olmaccrew2458 that would be great just let me know and we can have a chat . I know the area well worked out the bush for years.
Welcome to WA 😊 Just a thought….calf pain can be a sign of DVT especially when you’ve been sitting for long periods of time. Wishing you both safe travels and a fabulous adventure.
Thankyou, we love WA so far. I think your onto something, been doing the longer trips between camps then just sitting as it hurt to walk. Or I’m just getting soft🤣
Agree get that checked out as a DVT can be very dangerous.
Great real world review guys, my wife and I are about to buy one and your honest and real life review has been very helpful. Great outlook on life too.
No worries, I’m glad it’s been helpful and thanks for watching
Thank you enjoyed this very much
No worries, Thankyou for watching 👍
Love your work guys
Cheers mate, appreciate it
Gday Guys so you drove through the campground onto Bullocks Hill fire trail...could you have driven further towards Hains Hut or did you need to stop at the river? Thanks again
Hi, once you get to the campground at the yarrongabilly river you can’t go any further as it’s a locked gate. But if you were keen you can hike from there, it’s apart of the Alpine trail. Hope this helps
Great to see such a positive and honest review after 4 years. Thanks for sharing.
No worries, and Thankyou. it really is a great van👍
Question - do you have data on your Ipad to run that adaptor? I bought my ipad outright so I dont have data I just use wifi. So not sure if that adaptor would work if I dont have data on my ipad? thanks
Hi Shani the firestick runs off wifi, we use either our Starlink or hotspot from our phones, both work really easily - hope that helps
That's great thanks for that 🙂@@olmaccrew2458
I bet it's cold there in the winter months
Gets very cold there, gets into the minuses 🥶
I love reality
Haha it’s not always beer n skittles
