Fail in Under 3 Minutes: Student's Road Test Ends Due to Pedestrian Incident, Rest of Test Superb!
They didn’t take me to this route …😂😂 I was so mad
Yeah, they take different routes.
Driving instructor is a life threatening job, especially with students like this 🥲
Thank you for your comment! Being a driving instructor certainly comes with its challenges, but it’s also a rewarding job helping students become safe drivers. We always do our best to ensure a safe learning environment for both the instructor and the student. Appreciate your understanding!
Yeild sign means stop to allow other vehicles, bycycles or pedistrians to proceed first. Stop sign means come to complete stop wait for 3 sec & see if the way is clear then proceed
Thanks for your comment! Just to clarify: a **Yield sign** means slow down and give the right of way, but you don’t have to stop unless necessary. A **Stop sign** requires a full stop, check the intersection, and then proceed. Stay safe!
Really gd examiner
Not properly trained.
Thats tuff u didnt pass
Hi I just passed my G2 today thanks for encouragement
Congratulations on passing your G2-awesome job! 🎉 We're glad to hear that you made it. Now you're one step closer to full independence on the road! Keep practicing and stay safe, and best of luck as you work towards your G. Enjoy the freedom that comes with your new license! 🚗💨
hi i am doing my G2 Tomorrow and taking an early morning class beforehand, what will happen and should i just be confident
Great video! I have my test next week..wish me luck! Had a question.. I will be driving a car that has automatic parking brake (or Handbrake). Should l tell the examiner about it? Or is it ok if l just put it into park after maneuvers like downhill parking etc
Good luck on your test next week-you’ll do great! 🍀 It’s a good idea to **mention the automatic parking brake** to your examiner, just to make them aware. A simple, "This car has an automatic parking brake, so I’ll just shift it into Park after parking on a hill," is enough. That way, they’ll know you understand how the system works. As long as you put the car in **Park** and the brake engages automatically, you’re all set. Just stay calm, and you’ve got this!
This is very helpful. I took Oakville for my G test years ago. In this video, though, I didn't see any residential-based three-point turn or parallel parking like the G2 tests. Aren't those still being done for G drivetests? Thanks for all the visual aids, street names, and speed limits. If I was the assessor, this person will fail because of several errors -- a) driving on the wrong lane on Wyecroft b) turning into the inner left lane when turning to Third Line from Bronte on the outer left lane, and c) changing lanes while crossing an intersection (I think this was on Third Line?). Did the guy fail or pass? ;p
After COVID-19, the G road test in Ontario has been adjusted in some areas, and the exam format has changed slightly. The three-point turn and parallel parking are no longer part of the G road test in most cases. The focus has shifted more toward on-road driving skills, such as: - Lane changes - Turning correctly - Observing traffic signs and signals - Proper use of mirrors and blind spots - Defensive driving These changes were made to streamline the testing process and focus on real-world driving situations, especially given the challenges posed by the pandemic. So, it’s true that these maneuvers are typically only tested in the G2 road test now. Thanks for bringing this up, and I hope this helps clarify things! The student failed this road test because of the same reasons you pointed out.
At the end of the day, an examiner has to be able to see that one can drive defensively. @ the 4:43 mark in the video, he should have been courteous to let the first car stuck behind the truck proceed and that's why the examiner flipped. The issue at hand is, many people when doing a driving test are nervous and are only focused on the task at hand, which is getting through the test. The reality is, one needs to practice defensive driving before they take a road test.
You make a great point! Defensive driving is key, not just for passing the test but for being a safe driver overall. Being aware of other drivers, staying calm under pressure, and showing courtesy, like letting the car behind pass, all contribute to safe driving habits. It's normal to be nervous during the test, but practicing defensive driving ahead of time will help you stay focused and handle situations more confidently. Thanks for sharing this insight!
My daughter just got her class F license here using a 9' Uhaul Cargo Van. The testers were very nice patient understanding and helpful. Highly recommend the short drive to Clinton!
It's great to hear you had such a positive experience at the Clinton test center! They definitely have a reputation for being helpful.
Wampwamp bro failed
He failed
Thanks for writing the names of the streets
Do you have the other route?
You're welcome! Glad this helps you visualize the route for your test!
If you want you can get the routes from our website grayjaysdrivingschool.ca/category/gps-routes/ thank you.
Horrible, OMG!!
😅 should be fail
Nice point of view now I can know what angles to look up for when p Parking
Glad that helped! When parallel parking, remember to check your rearview mirror and side mirrors to judge the distance, and always look over your shoulder to check your blind spots. Focus on the space you’re parking into and make sure you’re aware of nearby vehicles and obstacles. With practice, you'll get the angles down! Good luck!
during the g2 test, will the examiner tell you tell you when you need to turn/lane changes, or will i be expected to have the route memorized?
they'll tell you
During your G2 road test in Ontario, the examiner will tell you where to turn and when to make lane changes. They will give you clear verbal instructions like "turn left at the next intersection" or "stay in the left lane." You won’t need to memorize the route ahead of time, as the examiner will guide you through the test. However, you still need to demonstrate that you can drive safely and make proper decisions based on road signs, traffic flow, and other conditions. You’re expected to follow the examiner's instructions and show your ability to navigate in real traffic situations, but you won’t have to plan the route on your own. Thanks for pointing that out, and good luck on your test!
How come this test didn't include parallel parking?
Great question! Sometimes, the examiner might skip parallel parking and instead ask for reverse parking when you return to the DriveTest center. It all depends on the route and what the examiner decides to include. So it’s always a good idea to be prepared for both!
Man, if a homeless man came up to the car during my test and asked for money I would look to the Examiner and ask "Is this part of the test?"
Haha, that would definitely be an unexpected moment! Examiners understand that real-life situations can pop up during a test. If something like that happened, they’d likely just advise you to handle it calmly and safely. It’s not part of the test, but it would make for a memorable story!
Did is pass
Yes, he passed!
The poor guy didn't just fail, he made a mess of it. Comments that the examiner will leave could result in much tougher scrutiny in the next attempt. He almost hit an on coming Car and didn't follow the limit in School zone.
You’re absolutely right-serious errors like almost hitting an oncoming car or failing to observe the school zone speed limit are major issues that will lead to a failed test. Examiners do keep notes on these mistakes, and they might pay closer attention to those areas in the next attempt. While it may feel discouraging, it’s a chance to identify exactly what needs improvement. With focused practice on staying within speed limits, proper observation, and maintaining safe distances, the next attempt can be much more successful!
He forgot to turn the signal on, so I wonder what the result was.
Thank you for your comment! Yes, even though the student forgot to signal at one point, they were still able to pass. Small mistakes can happen, but as long as they don’t pose a major safety risk and the rest of the drive is safe and controlled, the examiner may still pass the student. However, it’s always best to remember to signal to form good habits for future drives!
Thank you for sharing your videos. It helped me a lot in preparing for my G Road Test in Lindsay. And today, I passed it flying colors. :)
Congratulations on passing your G Road Test in Lindsay! We’re thrilled to hear that our videos helped in your preparation. Driving with confidence makes all the difference, and it sounds like you did just that! Safe travels, and thank you for letting us be part of your journey. 🚗
what are the raisons of fail?
In this driving test, the student unfortunately didn’t pass due to a few critical reasons. There were multiple driving errors, and one major issue was a lack of proper observation throughout the test. Observation is crucial because it helps ensure everyone’s safety on the road. Additionally, around the 3:25 mark, the student got too close to a pedestrian, which is considered a serious safety risk. It’s essential to maintain a safe distance from pedestrians at all times. For a successful test, we recommend practicing good observation skills, maintaining a safe distance, and staying aware of all surroundings.
instructor was clear, kind and respectfull compared to the first one. No wonder she passed. It matters a lot.
Absolutely! A clear, kind, and respectful examiner can make a huge difference in the test experience and boost confidence on test day. Thank you for your kind words! Safe driving ahead! 🚗
The examiner for my G2 road test asked me to park in front of a fire hydrant for a 3-point turn!😞
Thank you for sharing your experience! It can be surprising when examiners ask for maneuvers that seem unusual, like parking near a fire hydrant. However, rest assured they are trained to ensure safety and evaluate your driving skills under different conditions. In situations like these, following the examiner’s instructions is the best course of action, as they’re aware of any exceptions during the test. Great job staying calm and focused!

It seems like you might be referencing a specific moment in a video. If you have a question or need clarification about that time stamp, feel free to share more details! We are here to help.
This is bullshit I failed because I didn’t wait for traffic to clear and I had the gear wrong this lady did like 5 wrong things and passed this is bullshit man
I understand how frustrating that can be! Each test is different, and examiners look for various factors. Remember, every experience is a learning opportunity. If you focus on improving your skills, you'll have a better chance next time. Keep practicing, and don’t lose hope! You’ve got this!
What did he said to the end ? I didn't 👂
The examiner mentioned that she met the ministry standards, which is a positive indication of her driving skills. It's great to hear she received that feedback! If you have any other questions about the process, feel free to ask!
OmG this video is everything about what not to do. He even made another big mistake at 5:11 .. the examiner didnt mention
Thanks for your comment! It’s great that you’re paying attention to the details. Every driving test can have its nuances, and not every mistake is pointed out by the examiner. It’s important to learn from these examples to improve your own driving skills. We appreciate your feedback!
Thank you so much!! It was a relief to watch!!❤

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your input and will definitely consider it for future videos. Our goal is to provide clear and helpful content, and we want to make sure you can see the road clearly. Safe driving!
wow, i wish my examiner was this nice , fun and reassuring . mine talked to me in a rude, mean tone. yelled to stop turning when i could make it, and caused us to get stuck in the intersection, causing danger, and yelled about it. love her ! cant wait for my next test :)!
did she pass or fail??
what does the thumbnail of the video when you click on it show???????????? 🤦
@@RustyDesignswell she took 5 minutes to do a reverse park and hit the curb when forward parking, maybe use your head and see where i’m coming from? and ever heard of clickbait buddy?
She passed her G2 road test. The G2 test isn’t about perfect driving. The examiner understands that students may make some mistakes, as long as they aren’t serious safety concerns. They’re looking for your ability to correct those mistakes and demonstrate safe driving skills. The focus is on showing that you can drive responsibly
Is it pass or fail?,
Unfortunately, the student didn’t pass this time. Missing key maneuvers like reverse parking can lead to a fail, but it’s all part of the learning process. They’ll nail it next time with more practice!
Thank you
The scary thing is that this man has a G2 license...
We understand your concern! Just to clarify, the individual has their G1 license and is going straight for the G road test due to their driving experience from back home. Many drivers bring valuable skills from their previous experiences. Safe driving is our top priority!
Thats tufff

Don’t worry, you can do it! With practice and the right resources, you’ll get there. Keep studying and stay positive! If you have any questions or need tips, feel free to ask. We’re here to help!
Hey I have I question three points turn three sign which signal ?
Lift Signal then Right signal then again Left Signal
This is an old video. There is a new stop sign in the plaza before the dollarama when entering the plaza after road test. Be careful
Thank you for the heads-up! We appreciate you sharing the information with us.
0:08 the bubble tea is actually cheap
Is it a pass or fall?
She still passed? But isn't failing to do a maneuver a fail (reverse parking)?
Great question! Not necessarily. It depends on how the maneuver was handled and if it impacted safety. Sometimes, even if a maneuver isn’t perfect, the overall driving ability and safety awareness can still meet the passing criteria. It’s all about demonstrating safe driving skills!
Why he failed ….
The student was driving well overall, but at 9:34, they couldn’t complete the lane change because of the slower speed and a car approaching from behind. In situations like that, the examiner might take control of the steering for safety reasons. Unfortunately, the student also got a bit nervous and missed a few instructions. It’s completely normal to feel nervous during a test, and these experiences are all part of learning. They'll get it next time!
In that situation where the student turned left on the red light, what are you supposed to do? Wait behind the line? Or can you should you turn on a yellow light
In that situation, if the light is red, you should always wait behind the line until it’s safe to proceed. Turning left on a red light is not allowed. If you have a yellow light, you should only turn if it's safe and you're already in the intersection. Otherwise, it’s best to wait for the next green light to make your turn safely.
I passed my G test on 24 September 2024 in Lindsay (by only one chance). The vedio to much helped me for passing my G test. I passed my G test from G1.
Congratulations on passing your G test! 🎉 We're so glad to hear that the video helped you in your preparation. Going from G1 to G is a big achievement, and it shows your hard work and focus. Drive safe, and thanks for sharing your success with us!
