In situations like that, the examiner might take control of the steering for safety reasons. Unfortunately, the student also got a bit nervous and missed a few instructions. It’s completely normal to feel nervous during a test, and these experiences are all part of learning. They'll get it next time!

In that situation, if the light is red, you should always wait behind the line until it’s safe to proceed. Turning left on a red light is not allowed. If you have a yellow light, you should only turn if it's safe and you're already in the intersection. Otherwise, it’s best to wait for the next green light to make your turn safely.
