After watching unlimited reruns of the Mentalist. Safe to say that Teresa was too dumb to understand the level of Red John's intelligence and deviousness. And I didn't like the writers..as to why they didn't show more intimacy between Jane and Teresa. And Red John character could have been more real than the murders and scheming.

I think Teresa Lisbon is one of the best written female characters from late 2000s TV. She had steely inner strength but a compassionate and caring nature. Good sense of humor, lots of patience, and loyalty. I also have great admiration for her rising above her childhood trauma to finding a good path for herself and not letting it hold her completely back. She was the mama bear to her team and her deep care and eventual love for Patrick Jane and vice versa was a lovely slow burn watch. Also, the last scene in this video still hits me in the feels years later. A great happy end.

He speaks very scarcely but he slays every time he talks

I love their relationship because even early on you can see the connection and how much they care for one another. But it took RJs death for Jane to actually heal. And Jane never stood in Lisbon's way but it always felt, at least to me, that he was slightly happy when it didn't work out. It's all subtle, all clever and I miss shows doing this. It makes me both want and not want a continuation; the story ended perfectly but I also want more of these characters.

Kimble Cho, cool, calm , collected and unique. And just like Jane he wore a mask to cover up his true feelings. His mask was being dispassionate and just like Jane he absolutely loved his team and would do anything for them.
