I enjoy photographing trains and have decided to share the videos and photos I take.

This one came to a stop just after passing me. I drove a few meters down the road to see why it stopped. After a quick crew change it was on it's way again at 3.02pm, so filmed it leaving too. 9196 SSR grain train with N463, S311, S312 & N464 hauling 40 grain hoppers from Nullawil to Appleton Dock. Filmed in Wycheproof 3.26pm Friday 10/01/25. This was a lucky spot for me. I thought it had already passed Wycheproof until we approached the town and saw it sitting just outside the town.

Haha it nearly was next year. It was on the Broad Gauge track which is the same as the Metro trains so it had to go slower as there was probably a Metro train approaching Werribee Station.
Lot of empty trucks on that one.
There was. I think it was because some places shut down for Christmas so they were moving less freight that week.

Yeah I agree. The next into the sun shots were from the other side of the crossing and that helped the glare luckily. But yes it is great to see them in Vic. They look great when they are shiny and new

No worries. Yeah the bells are a bit annoying aren't they. It's just a very convenient spot for me as there is room to park the car and it's close to home. Soon enough that crossing will be gone I believe so hopefully I can still film there with no bells 😀
