We are a warm, caring family of neighbors sharing God’s love to meet each other’s needs. God’s Word says, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another!”

I'm here because I dreamed Psalm 105:5. Saw it in my sleep and was searching for the meaning of it and this helped🎉

Today is August 12, 2024. And on this day let us pray for mechanics.
So. You refer to the Psalmist as if they write the Psalms themselves. Do you believe that the Holy Spirit inspired these words ? If so they are God's words, not the words of the Psalmist. Jesus was in heaven at this point with The Father. And so... these in this case are His words. It's difficult to justify this evangelically?
Today is July 15, 2024. And on this day, let us pray for those who are unhoused.
Amen

Psalm 45 is the literal wedding of Jesus.
God bless!
❤ praise God in heaven by the name of Lord Jesus Christ🎉🎉🎉
Hallelujah! I appreciate your message. I believe Psalm 97 is prophecy! It describes the Day of the Lord, same as Zechariah 14. Yeshua is coming soon! Most will be left behind because of bigotry and idolatry.
These are the 2 Witnesses. Sarah of the remnant ( Numbers 26:46) and her husband. This Psalm is to the tune of “Lilies”. These 2 are also the Shulamite and her Beloved in the Song of Solomon. The Beloved describes her as a “ lily among thorns “ and calls her “ my sister, my spouse “ as Abram called Sarai when they went into Egypt and Philistia. The Shulamite is also a daughter of Aaron- connecting her with Moses. The Beloved is the Elijah that is to come. Also- Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount- consider the Lilies- consider the ravens… consider the lilies- Not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed as one of these. Solomon- obviously is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon and is the prototype for the final Antichrist. Shalom to you
Thank you for sharing God's word. This passage is so beautiful. Amen.
Please Help me I Believe Jesus Is The Son of God and God The Son of The Holy Trinity I Believe Jesus Shed His Blood and Died in my place to Pay for All my Sins He Was Buried Then 3 Days Later Jesus Arose From The Dead!!! Great explanation thank you
Sir is it true that this verse is useful for protection in our daily life?
Love it thank you!
Wow what's a beautiful explanation...
It was a wonderful service. I was so glad that I went from Michigan. Thank you!
I feel like my whole life has been frustrating I can't catch a break it's been a hard life. It makes me wonder if I'm cursed or Christian. Even though I try daily to end my day with a clean conscious I feel like deceitful practices of other people greed and power and my own life where I work win out. My life feels insecure I can't breathe so then what's wrong am I wrong will I ever know.
Hi Mary. I'm sorry I didn't see this comment sooner, but thank you for watching the video and letting God's Word bring this hurt out into the light. Because of Jesus, we know that even when our lives are full of hurt and sorrow, our God loves us and has salvation for us. Sometimes that hurt and sorrow comes because of our own sin; sometimes through the sin of others. Regardless, Jesus has reconciled you with God. Nothing stands between you and your Father in heaven, like it says in Romans 8: Nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ, not trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword. I hope that message came across loud and clear in this video!
There was no sound when the choir was singing! Looked like a dandy anthem, would have loved to hear it.
Now here is what religion fails to understand! It is in John 10: 32-34, where a Jewish leaders and such wants to kill Jesus, for saying he was in par with being God. Jesus then defended who He was, by reminding them all, by their own scripture, who they "once were," by the use of Psalms 82. That they, "once" (in another Time, World and Age) stood before Him "in Judgement." And, as “God,” had once said to them: "Ye are gods" [Children of the Most High, but Ye shall all die like men!].“Liken” to physical men themselves that had existed, denoting a future change, from what they were, to what they will be, in another Time, Age and World, in the far future for them all. "Thus, the very same Men," who "were all now" trying to kill Him! The very same Judge (“God”) from out of their very past. Question: Are any of those Jewish (Men) still alive today? Or are they all dead? Therefore, who are You then, that are now reading this, but “once” the very same "Children of God" that were all born from out of a woman, just as Jesus Christ was, “who are also awaiting your own time to die (Psalms 82:7-Hebrew 9: 27) then fulfilling the very same judgement, from out of your own very past.
Great expalnation here are my thoughts. Have to remeber the "Job Description" of prophets in the Old Testament. Most people are even unaware of who wrote Psalm 82. Asaph the prophet wrote Psam 82 as well as other Psalms 82. Asaph the Prophet writes ESV Psalm 82: 1 "God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: Psalm 82:6 - “I said, you are gods.” When a person read it in the original Hebrew, and you will see the difference between Yahweh as Elohim above all Elohim and the council itself as a lower classification of elohim. Jesus answers the lower classification of elohim (gods) in John 10: 34 35. John the Disciple/Apsotle writes Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), The lower class of elohim (gods) in Psalm 82 are human NOT non human/angels like Heiser promotes. WHY because the word of the Lord came to Prophets, God Spoke thru Prophets to the nation of Israel/Jews (Human). The Jews were also given the Law and had the Prophets. NO nonhuman/angel is ever referred to as a Prophet in scripture or were given the Law, Of course angels are messengers in scripture, but that is it. This is the "Job Description" of a prophet like Asaph who wrote Psalm 82. God take His place in this council/assembly is by the prophet Asaph. The Law and Holy Scriptures were given to the nation of Israel/Jews NOT to non humans/angels. How God takes His place in the divine council is by the Prophet Asaph who wrote Psalm 82 and by the Law which was given to the Nation of Israel. What is KEY is that a Prophet of God like Asaph carried and handled the words of the Lord God, Prophets were the VOICE of God that is why it is IMPORTANT that Jesus Repeats and Fulfills these words...... Psalm 82:6 - “I said, you are gods.” ........John 10: 34-35 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken)," Notice there is a lot happening with the words Jesus uses John 10 1. Verse 34, Jesus says....... "Is it not written in your law">>>>>This tells us that Jesus is addressing Humans (Pharisees/Rulers/Jews) in John 10. The Jews/nation of Israel was given the Law, which would be the Law of Moses. 2. Verse 34, Jesus says...... "I said" "You are gods". What the "I said" is, is a declaration of Jesus as God. The "I said" is not different than an "I am" declaration", Jesus is God and is the Son of God. Another point with the "I said" of Jesus is that He is REPEATING this from the Old Testament which is found in Psalm 82, this is not just a mere qoute of Jesus, but an REPEAT of what God spoke thru the prophet Asaph........... Psalm 82: 1 "God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: Psalm 82:6 - “I said, you are gods.” Since Jesus is God and is addressing HUMANS in John 10 and is REPEATING what God said when He spoke thru the prophet Asaph in Psalm 82, that means the "gods/elohim" in Psalm 82 are also HUMAN (Judges.Rulers.Jews), Jesus Literally answers the question of the "gods/elohim" in Psalm 82. NOTE: ESV uses "divine council" other translations use "congregation of the mighty" or "great assembly". 3. Verse 35. "If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),"....Here again "gods" is used which refer to Humans (Judge/Pharisees/Rulers/Jews). Notice the text also says..."to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), This again goes back to the Old Testament, because God would speak thru prophets in the Old Testament, like Asaph who wrote Psalm 82. Asaph was the "Voice" of God to the Jews, like all prophets in the Old Testament are the "Voice" of God. 4. So when a person puts the "gods/elohim" in Psalm 82 and who God is adresseing thru the prophet Asaph>>>>>>>Psalm 82: 1 "God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: Psalm 82:6 - “I said, you are gods.” Now you apply Jesus and the "gods" He is adressing in John 10>>>>>>>John 10: 34-35 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’? 35 If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),"...........A person can CLEARLY see that the "gods/elohim" are HUMAN in both Psalm 82 and John 10. God Inspires and Lifts up Prophets in the Old Testament so Jesus can FULFILL what is written and spoken in the Old Testament Fulfilled by Jesus in the New Testament. Jesus holds the answer of the "gods" (lower class elohim/gods), they are human in both Psalm 82 and John 10. The prophet Asaph was the "Voice" of God in the Old Testament so Jesus can repeat and fulfill what was spoken and written in the Old Testament. Even Isaiah the prophet who wrote Isaiah 53 was the "Voice" of God in the Old Testament, so Jesus can Fulfill what was said in Isaiah 53.....Isaiah 53 is about the Crucifixion of Christ.
I read it literally and believe that the Elohim are spiritual beings that YHWY placed over nations. These Elohim rebelled against God and became the principalities as mentioned in Eph 6;12 that we wrestle against. Jesus was given authority over them when He died on the cross and was resurrected. This Psalm shows the great battle between good and evil that is on earth and in the heavenlies. It explains the increase in evil today as these principalities know their time is getting short and will be judged and condemned.
God bless you.... from Morocco
Hat & T-Shirt, really? "Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head... For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God..." 1 Corinthians 11:4-7

Is this a plea for temporal help or is it a plea for eternal life? Seems like he is not asking to be washed and made clean like in psalm 51. But in psalm 86 he says he is poor in spirit, which is godly sorrow bringing us onto repentance to Jesus from dead works.
Hello Frank! I'm glad to know that these videos are still serving God's people. I apologize for the delay in response. In regards to David's specific prayer, he is praying for temporal help. He is under attack from real enemies (vs 14). His approach to this prayer teaches us something about how we can approach prayer, whether we are praying regarding temporal things or eternal things. Meditate on who God is and what he he has promised; then bring our requests to him with the clarity and perspective that our contemplation of him will grant.
Thanks Bro, what a blessing to snuggle up and be comfortable in God's arms like a child with mum.
If we step back a bit and look at the whole book 1 of Psalms we see a pattern. Some say Psalm book 1 (Ps 1-41) is poetically Genesis. It starts with a blessed man who is like a tree of life (like the start of Genesis) and ends with a blessed but betrayed man like Joseph (like the ending of Genesis). Jacob did bless Joseph with both ideas 'Joseph is a fruitful bough" like a tree of life and 'the archers shot at him" (his brothers, protipher's wife and others brokering the salve trade and forgetting him) It all points to the more than Joseph, Jesus.
