Quality is garbage. Mine was ridden minimally, then i started riding regularly 2-3 times a week for 2 weeks, and the front motor completely died after putting 32 miles on it. It had also intermittently lost power when coming to a complete stop,and I had to power cycle it to work again. Of course they now claim it's only 180 day warranty instead of 1 year even though their website says 1 year. The replacement motor costs much more than just getting a new scooter. I'm not at all happy

Great video! My K8 arrived today. I'm 6'5 275 pounds and man, that thing is a rocket even with me on it. However, the handlebar height is super low for me. I see that the T88 plus is adjustable. Would you say the T88 handlebars go higher than the K8? What is the deck size compared to the K8? Thank you.

@RVEnthusiast - Still received an error 30 after cleaning everything up on my HeyBVike Mars but did not receive the additional error 24 when I unplugged the motor after unplugging everything else but the display so my Heybike Mars was BrainDead and potentially still had a good motor. I must be living right because after my local bike shop told me they didn't stock parts for HeyBike they looked up and found there was a HeyBike dealer just around the corner and when I got there I found they had a controller for the Mars they had pulled from a wreck which I got for $49. It was a newer version than the one on my bike but it was a perfect match and now the bike runs fine. One nice thing about when you replace the controller is that you don't loose your odometer reading or other settings since they are all stored in the display unit. Best!

Here in Tropical Florida with our sudden Tropical Rains and Extreme Humidity I'd be very tempted to coat the spindle ends with Cosmoline or Anti-Sieze (aluminum formulation) to prevent things from corroding/fusing together. Is this allowable or is there some potential for damaging the pedal sensor? Been wrenching for 60 years now but new to e-bikes. How much effort is there to cleaning, repacking and setting the preload on the spindle bearings or are they sealed bearings now and just throwaway press in/out? Best!

How well sealed are the wiring harness connectors used on the Heybike along with the sealing boot on the hub shaft. Just got a Mars that might have had standing water up to the hub and they threw the battery out without any indication of a problem since it might have gotten wet. Is the controller pretty well sealed and potted sitting there under the pedals or is it all open and free? I'll know better after the replacement battery arrives if it just boots up without any other issues or not. Any GotYa's I should be looking out for? Best!

If you want longer range you have to go below 15 mph. I got 144 miles with 80% battery use. I ride mostly at 10 -12 mph with total weight 170 lb with mix road usage. I have the magicycle 1000watt motor

Can you put it in the car by yourself?

I have the t88 pro. One tip is to keep 50psi. tire pressure .

This video pops up just in time. I'm having a home generator installed in the next 30 days along with a 48 amp Tesla charger too. I don't have an EV just yet, but will decide on the Lyriq which was a pleasure to test ride or the Optiq that would fit much better in the parking stall it will reside, but isn't available as of this posting. I just installed Tesla Starlink (great improvement on internet speeds and connectivity over other limited choices) and just received the Universal charger. Neither pieces of equipment came with a phone number, so I thank you very much for disclosing the number to us all.

Hello, I've watched most of your videos on the Heybike Brawn. My question is about the freewheel or freewheel cassette. Do you know which it is and I'd like to swap to a cassette with a 34 or 36 tooth and don't much care about the small gear so do you know if the Sunrace series will fit? I'm getting to know the bike and have replaced the nylon planetary gears twice and am installing a second battery. I'm on my second Brawn because the other was totaled by a vehicle collision so I removed that power socket for the battery and have the original battery and am waiting for a combiner I've ordered. This Brawn is climbing much steeper hills than the original but I'm going up mountain single-track trails and need a few extra climbing teeth. Thanks for the videos, you do good work.

Have the K8..also people always kill themselves opening box's,just turn it upside down,open flaps then turn back to rightside up,then just lift the box off,everything is in tact & all u do is remove styrofoam,no lifting the scooter out of the box...also with these Tifgalop is in non turbo modes 1,2,3 single motor they make no speed diff.,speed is about 15mph in all these modes which makes no sense

Great review! I love my K8. My lil sis gave me a scooter for xmas last year and it was a great little scooter. When I was looking online for ways to beef it up, I came across a video on RUclips showing the K8 Tif Galop. I ordered one on the spot and I haven’t slowed down since. Only one wipeout and a broken hand, I still ride it everywhere and At 60 years old, I still ditch a cop every once in a while. I thought the K8 would only do 50 mph. NOT TRUE! 50 mph was where I started experiencing a speed wobble and I was doing 62 mph when I let up. Had I not shut it down, I surely would have been hurt or worse. I wear more protective gear now unless I’m just going to the store or something close. Can’t wait to see what they do to address the speed wobble and maybe adjustable height handle bar. The only complaint i have is that the wiring could have been conseeled better and less obstructive to other workings of the scooter. Zip ties could be replaced with tubing. This is a lot of power in a small package and should be given the respect it deserves or you will be humbled with its lesson on gravity and physics. Peace and be safe

Thank you for this great video. I followed your step. But after changing the tire, I guess I bended the rim. I’m not sure I might not it started wobbly on high speed you notice it bouncing. This doesn’t have to adjust rim. What do you recommend? What is the problem?

When you are ready to ride - you turn your bike on to level 1,2,3 does it automatically go into drive? Or do you have to pedal or throttle to get it going?
